My stay at McCall Farm was simply the best hotel experience I have ever had (probably in part because it is a B&B, not a hotel).
The room, bathroom, and every area of the house and front porch were perfectly clean--no dust, even--while still feeling homey and inviting. The bed linens consisted of three pillows per person, soft, high-quality sheets, a quilt, and a down comforter, and the bed was comfortably firm--I felt like I was in my own bed. The bathroom had complimentary lavender-scented soap, lotion, and shampoo/conditioner from a local shop. Unlike most hotel toiletries, this stuff smelled and felt so good that I was tempted to go to the store myself and buy more!
Teri's homemade breakfasts were well-worth waking up early for. One morning we had a tomato and basil frittata and oven-fresh muffins, and the other morning we had a decadent french toast topped with brown sugar and pecans. Both breakfasts came with our choice of tea and fantastic regular or decaf coffee made with freshly ground coffee beans. We also had fresh-squeezed orange juice straight from their orange trees and juicy strawberries. At 5:00 in the evening they serve wine, cheese, and crackers in the living room and you can socialize with the other guests if they're around (just 2 people, since there are only two rooms, each with one bed) and/or the McCalls, who are incredibly warm and friendly. You'll love them even if you aren't normally a people person. They also have a dog, but he doesn't bark, lick, or jump, so don't worry if you are not a dog person.
As far as another user's comment about the room not having its own bathroom, we stayed in that room (the Yellowbird Room) and while the bathroom is not in the room, it is literally right outside the door and it is not shared with anyone. I didn't feel inconvenienced at all by this. The B&B is located in an actual house, so that's just how the house was built.
The B&B is located 5 miles down a farm road, so you will not be able to walk into town like you would if you stayed at some of the other inns, but I enjoyed being off the beaten path and we never had any trouble with the drives or with parking.
For dinner in Cambria, I really enjoyed The Black Cat, and Teri was able to get us same-day reservations and an excellent table.
