“Disappointed”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2009

We have been dining here for many years but there must be new management. It had been 2 yrs since we last ate at the Bistro. In the past it was always a fine dining experience, however 2 weeks ago we had dinner and found the food acceptable and the service bad. The wine list has always been impressive and one of the attractions. It has also been generally in the expensive range. Fair enough, but the excellent staff had always been ready to discuss a wine pairing appropriate to your food and your budget. The other day when we began to ask for their advice our wait person cut us off rudely with the comment that their list was "cult wines" and turned their back on us. Instead of a bottle which we were willing to push the budget on, we ordered 2 glasses of the basic house wine which was a disappointment. We used to recommend this place. Sadly we no longer will.

Ran in to all seasons looking for a quick on the go lunch. The butternut squash and beet salad were terrific and the waitress calmly understood that I was running a day late for the spa! Go for the soups (the seafood bisque was great too) but if you get the spinach salad, ask for the dressing on the side (a little heavy). Thanks All Seasons for a super lunch on the quick time!

“Delightful Dinner”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 21, 2008

Dining at the All Seasons Bistro was a very pleasant experience. We tried the specials for the day, a halibut meal and pasta and both were outstanding. T'was also nice that you could hear your dinner companions conversation. This was our favorite meal while in Calistoga (though JoLe and Checkers are right up there too)...

“Wine & Food Delight”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 2, 2006

When we travel, we always ask the locals where to dine. This restaurant will probably always be mentioned in the locals' TOP recommendations. We had a full day of wine tasting and cheeses so we werent very hungry. We enjoyed there butternut squash appetizer. It was very well done - light pasta dish with tangy flavor in a simple butter sauce.

I would avoid the tap water in Calistoga, it has a very strong mineral after taste. Instead, order bottled.
