I am a return visitor. However, this past time not staying at your hotel..just pools I was distrubed with the front desk. Everyone at the front desk speaks spanish not toward guests but amoung themselves. I am hispanic I speak very good English and spoke English aproaching the spa desk but since I look hispanic i was replied in spanish. I then observed conversation bashing other employees and managers in spanish. Being bilingual is a gift and i feel your employees are abusing the gift. We all work in a diversed environment personally I was not impressed with the presentation of your employees or their work ethics or customer service. Just because we look hispanic does not mean we speak spanish and just because guests do not look hispanic does not mean they do not speak spanish. If someone does not speak english then yes if you have the gift to speak their hertiage then speak.

“Delightful stay&soak just before Thanksgiving”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 12, 2012

The main attraction of this hotel is the hot water. The largest swimming pool at a pleasant ~80F, main open sky soaking pool at ~95F, hot tub with roof-over at ~105F.
Checkin was efficient, while enthusiasm may not have been comparable to a 4* hotel, it certainly was not unfriendly. Our upstairs King room was spacious, had suite-like kitchen facilities and very nice dual-head shower in the bathroom. Put on swim suit, fluffy bath robe (two were provided in the room) and head to the soak. Day guests may also be allowed to pools in addition to hotel guests, however the number is limited. On certain days these day passes (25$) may sell out early. On holidays and weekends, day passes may be completely unavailable, so call ahead to confirm, and then get there early. A very nice bonus: as a hotel guest, you can get a day pass to extend your stay after the 11am checkout for 5$ - well worth it. There are changing rooms with shower facilities (shampoo and shower gel by EO provided in environmentally friendly dispensers) for day guests.
Recommendable stay - will come back here.
(plenty of parking available and restaurants in walking distance)

Happy Holidays Usuallyhappytravels,

Thank you for the nice review about our property. I am pleased to see you were able to enjoy the pools. In the Spring of 2013 we are renovating our guest rooms so we look forward to seeing you again so you can stay in one of the new rooms.

Cheers, Mike Lennon

“Horrible”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2012

We drove 4 hours to this hot springs to use the facility tonight only to be treated like garbage by an unprofessional staff.. We were told that all the pool was full. The entire pool facilility was visible to us, and we hardly saw any people there. When we mentioned that to the staff they said that the pool was reserved for hotel staying guests, and that they limit the amount of day users allowed in.

My family has been going to this hot springs for years, and we will not be coming back. This is my first time EVER writing a review for anything, but I am just appalled that this kind of service still exists.

The manager,Nara Schaeffer was extremely rude and not accomadating AT ALL, neither to us, nor the 25 other people waiting in the lobby. Nara needs to be fired and the owners of this Hot Springs really need to reevaluate their business structure.

Hello Audrey I,

Thank you for sharing your experience with us so we can ammend our policies regarding non-registered hotel guest use of our pools. This past Saturday evening presented some challenges for our staff of which they addressed within the scope of their abilities. In speaking with my team members who were present the pools were active with hotel guests and day use guests. Based on guest counts taken by the lifegueards additional guests were not being admitted to the pools for the evening swim. This policy is in place for the safety of all guests. We are fond of Nora and plan on having her remain an asset to our team for years to come.

Sincerely,
Michael Lennon

“Expensive.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 30, 2012

We came as day guests to the 3 pools. Cost $50 for two of us. Nothing special, really. Kind of nice to sit in the hot pool, but I am not sure it was worth it! They also made us wear horrible green bracelets which was kind of hokey.

“A lovely getaway...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 29, 2012

We go to this resort twice a year and love it. They have recently renovated the landscape and pools. Next, they will renovate the rooms. There are 3 pools; one large hot tub(104 degrees), one large soaking pool(99-100), and a lap and general swimming pool which is large. There is also a little wading pool kept lukewarm for children. The rooms vary depending upon what you get. Some are spacious and some are less so, but comfortable. They have mini kitchenettes with 2 burners, a toaster, and a mini refrigerator. I don't know how they will be after renovation, but am told they will put in microwaves. The office and spa staff are very helpful and good at their jobs. Something we like about this location is that we can park the car and the town is right there. There are lovely places to walk and a great grocery store and deli on the main street. One small drawback is that on one side, the street is pretty busy with cars and trucks because there is a Crystal Geyser bottling plant down the road. We wear ear plugs and do fine when we're on that side. We've enjoyed staying here many times.

Room Tip: East side rooms are quieter...second floor best.
