The Shasta Pines is probably the best available in Burney. We stayed in a King Suite which consisted of a bedroom with king bed and a sitting area. The room was impeccibly clean. The bathroom sink area was adjacent to the sleeping area and not separated by a door. The room was equipped with a small refrigerator which was noisy so I had to unplug it for the night, but the room was quiet otherwise. We were quite amazed that the motel was booked full on a Tuesday night in September.
The Outpost Restaurant is next door and served a good, basic meal that included both a delicious minnestrone soup as well as salad.
