“Michelin quality in Burlingame”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 28, 2010

Excellent food and service. We had a large party of 20 and preselected certain menu items. The cod and lamb were fabulous. A smaller group had eaten in the City the night before at a michelin star restaurant and agreed that ECCO was on the same footing but at half the price. The cheesecake was ENORMOUS - the largest I've ever seen. And the selection of liquors left my group very satisfied. Good food, good drink, and elegant setting. I wanted to eat there again but ran out of time.

“A perfect combination of food, service & atmosphere”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 26, 2010

After hearing about this restaurant for years, I finally had the pleasure of dining here with family on a recent Saturday evening. The menu was diverse and the service, with the attention of Marleen, was exceptional. Her knowledge of the menu and the individual selections was extremely helpful. The rack of lamb with Moroccan spices was excellent as was the heirloom tomato salad. For dessert, a fresh peach pie was offered with vanilla bean ice cream. I also heard rave reviews of the ribeye steak that was on special as well as the sole. A few table are offered outside on the sidewalk, which I hope to take advantage of next time. Don’t miss a meal here!

“Good food, good service, good company”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 16, 2009

Went by shuttle from one of the airport hotels. This was a business meeting's dinner so we had about 30 folks. The service was prompt and friendly. The food did come out slowly but with so many to serve more or less simultaneously this wasn't unreasonable. Wine was good, breads were good. The salads and soups were all enjoyed at our table. The simple green salad I had was graced with an excellent balsamic vinaigrete. I had the strip steak, the salmon with crab seemed to be the most popular main. My dish was quite good and the other diners were likewise happy. Deserts were standard and though good were unremarkable. This was a good restaurant experience.

“Favorite Restaurant on the Peninsula”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 15, 2009

One of the jewels on the peninsula. This is our favorite restaurant on the peninsula. Casual dress atmosphere.
Nice wine list.
Great lunches with salads e.g., ahi salad with wasabi mayonnaise and roe was outstanding
Nice bread for dining; Scrumptuous desserts and coffee drinks
Great food service in a friendly atmosphere. Every once in a while Tooraj the chef/owner will fondly greet you.

“Aces all Around!!”

Food only out done by the professional staff. Great, creative and soulful meals. Have dined at ECCO a number of times, and consistency is the name of the game. Keep up the good work.
