I chose this place based on its proximity to our hotel (less than 3 miles) and ratings on Yelp. It was an excellent decision. This was a really good, personal cafe. The menu changes frequently, if not daily. The young man working the front was super nice and helpful. This little cafe does the small things right. It's clear that it's a place where people go frequently, as the young man knew every other person in the place.
My son and I split a Prosciutto Parm Panini, which was brought to us already divided and plated separately. The salad accompanying the sandwich was a good amount and nicely dressed with a balsamic vinaigrette. My 10yo just wanted plain pasta with butter and cheese, which was not listed on the menu, but offered without hesitation. My husband ordered a cup of minestrone, which he felt like could have been more flavorful.
The gelato was really good, and my family all got some. The small portion is plenty for one person! I opted for a chocolate croissant as my dessert. It was probably better earlier in the day, but it was heading towards stale by the time I ate it. It was still good, but not optimal.
I would certainly frequent this place if I lived in the area because of the excellent customer service and quality of food. If you're staying at one of the hotels in the airport/waterfront areas, you should definitely give this place a consideration.
