“Good but not Great”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 31, 2013

Though the room was comfortable and the staff pleasant, the noise from the bathroom fan (constant) was unpleasant. Also, the breakfast was quite expensive for what you got. The web site did not make it clear--at least to me--that there was a significant charge for the breakfast.

It wasn't bad, but it still bugs me that Hilton Garden Inn's don't give free breakfast like their Hilton-cousins Hampton Inns and Homewood Suites which are comparably priced. I'm even at gold level for HHonors. And having two beds should always be Queens. The full size beds are tiny for a family of four that isn't even overweight. Oh well, the price and location was adequate and Burlingame is a nice clean area off of the hwy.

Staying near SFO is expensive. But this hotel was inexpensive in comparison to most and offers comfortable rooms. Internet, parking and coffee in the morning are all provided at no extra charge. It would be great if breakfast were free but if you are hungry, the buffet is delicious! Michelle is a wonderful chef and created yummy omelets , french toast and the like. If you want to save, buy a few food items at a grocery store and use the fridge and microwave that are in each room.

Only suggestion is to add the ability to use headphones on the treadmill to hear the TV that is part of each one. Thanks Hilton, I'll be back.

Needed to stay near San Francisco International Airport for two nights and decided to splurge for a luxury hotel. That was a big mistake! It is a nice hotel, but totally overpriced for what was provided. The room was small, there was no complimentary breakfast, and the design of the parking lot did not permit parking close to the entrance.
For much less money, the Comfort Inn in South San Francisco (where I also stayed later in the trip) provided a bigger room, a complimentary hot breakfast, and convenient parking, not to mention outstanding service from the front desk staff.
While the overall quality of the hotel was good, I felt I was being ripped off for an excessive charge just because the hotel had the Hilton name. It is possible to get better services and features elsewhere near the airport for a lot less money.

Very nice hotel. Reliable shuttle, even though the shuttle is shared by several hotels so there can be a wait and it stops at all terminals. Could be a few more breakfast choices, but overall pleasant and affordable stay near SFO.

The room we stayed in was nice sized and quiet We had a refrigerator and microwave. Upon arrival, there were cookies and fruited cold water. The room was nicely priced, and you do not have to pay for parking.

Great hotel for the price. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was next to the airport and excellent access to the freeway for getting around the area. Good business center. I would definitely use this hotel again.
