“Good food, great view, gluten-free options”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 22, 2013

We arrived on a Friday afternoon at 11:30am and were seated immediately. Our window table let us watch planes land at SFO. Server was prompt and provided a gluten-free menu for my review. I decided on the smoked chicken cobb salad with a side order of corn tortillas. It was a huge portion with a tasty deviled egg garnish. Others ordered the house burger and the crab sandwich and were pleased. The sweet potato fries were especially awesome.

Not the cheapest place in town but the food was good, service was prompt and attentive, and I was given plenty of gluten-free options. Works for me!

“Good food and great view”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 5, 2013

Great view of the Bay. The restaurant is a little pricey (to be expected). The food was good and I recommend the lobster mac-n-cheese.

“It Is Always My Last Meal When In San Francisco”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 1, 2013

Over the last twenty years I have made hundreds of business trips and many pleasure trips the San Francisco Bay area. Kincaid's is right on SF Bay and while eating, you may watch the planes coming into SFO or gaze at the unique interior design. There is some outdoor dining, but it gets pretty cool at night, especially in the summer, and you may prefer inside. Huge windows allow for great views of the bay before dark, then the Oakland skyline after dark and the south end of SFO (San Francisco International Airport)

About two years ago they changed the basic menu and removed a couple of my old favorites. The Firecracker Shrimp was one. But the replacement items are all delicious. They are famous for their 'roasted-in-rock-salt prime rib.' It is extremely tender, flavorful and melts in your mouth. And NO, it is not salty unless you salt it.

There are many meat, seafood, shellfish, combination of all and special dishes for dinner. (They serve lunch as well) There is a nice, well-stocked bar and an excellent wait staff. The garlic bread is to die for . . . as I am still tasting it as I write the review.

It is ten minutes from the airport so I usually stay at a nearby hotel in Burlingame on my last night in the area. Then, I drive five minutes to Kincaid's, then back to my hotel and prepare for an early morning flight back to the east coast.

It is moderately priced but you get what you pay for. Example: two people, two glasses of wine, salmon and oysters Rockefeller appetizers, two twelve once (the medium size) prime ribs, deserts but no coffee was $130.00 plus the tip. It is good so it is popular. Make a reservation! You will like it.

“Hidden Comfortable Gem”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 28, 2013

A little tough to find (I stay in nearby hotels and on the bay-side walking trail) but worth it. Solid food with great view and staff. Enjoy the bar and the atmosphere. Looks better on the inside. Under rated food - always enjoy and reasonable compared to most waterside eateries.

Good mixture of business folks, families from the areas and even walkers/locals having cocktails and such.

“OK, but nothing special...”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 24, 2013

A short walk from the Hilton, so quite convenient but very pricey and nothing particular stunning about the restaurant at all... apart from a great view over the bay.

Service was good, food was good, drinks were good... but prices were nothing short of astronomical and for those prices I expected better...

Would probably go back as the Hilton restaurant didn't look very good... but it's more a convenience thing than a 'this place is excellent' thing...
