“Delicious Cuban Food & Pastries”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 15, 2014

Portos can seem overwhelming when you walk in with long lines anytime but they move fast. Their media noche sandwich with roast pork, ham, swiss cheese, and pickles on sweet cuban bread is a winner, as is their roast pork sandwich and vegetarian sandwich. The pasteries are fantastic----guava cheese strudel and tres leches cake are standouts. Get a whole cake to go---their Milk & Berries cake is exceptional. Finish off with a Cuban cappucino.

“Portos Burbank”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 15, 2014

Nice breakfast (stand in line, order and pay, then find a table and wait for service) really good food. Mostly known for its pastries and they are sensational. You must also try the potato balls.

“quick stop, great food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 15, 2014

Stand in line, order your food and then sit and enjoy it. The style is Cuban. I have never had a bad item here. Recently the bakery made a wedding cake for me. It was perfect and perfectly delicious. They open early and close around eight p.m. If you go at an off hour your wait will, of course, be shorter. Enjoy eating at any of their restaurants then take home something from their bakery to have later.

“Not to be missed”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 15, 2014

Great food pastries and value! Usually there is a long line but it is well worth the wait! For a special occasion the fruit tarts are delicious and fresh. The banana chips are to die for! The pastries are amazing decadence!

“Bang for your buck”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 15, 2014

I am not a big fan of their food, empanadas specifically, but most of their cakes are really good.
they are reasonably priced and can compete with any of the Beverly Hills bakeries. We order
All of our families cakes from Portos. They are very busy, so if you can order ahead, it's best
Or hits them at off peak hours.
