“Consistently great food, and surprisingly uncrowded.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 5, 2012

My business partner and I have been going here once each week for dinner for about the last five months. It's one of the few things we completely agree on. The decor is clean, modern, and understated. Service can be hit or miss, depending on your server, but most of them are good (Ken is our favorite). But what makes this place special isn't decor or service--it's the food. Every time we go, the food is outstanding. They have traditional Thai dishes on the menu, but it's the variations on Thai themes that are really special--their Bangkok beef, fried tofu and taro, grilled marinated calamari. Even the more mundane-sounding dishes like the string beans, egg rolls, and satay skewers are a cut above.

Frankly, we haven't figured out why this place isn't more crowded (we only go mid-week for dinner; it may be busier on the weekend or at lunch) . It's had great reviews, it's in a hip location. If you can make it in time for happy hour (ends at 7), you can make a whole meal out of their appetizer plates for a bargain, and not feel like you've missed anything.

“This reminded me of the soup in Phuket”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 11, 2011

I LOVE Thai food, but after visiting Phuket and other islands in Thailand, I found the Americanized versions to be underwhelming. Once you taste the authentic spices cooked right there, where everything originated, it's hard to come back to the US and find anything close. Chadaka brings it all back to the palette. The Spinach Wonton soup with garlic is TO DIE FOR. I'm under the weather at the moment and it perked me right up! I also tried the Chicken Satay & Curry Seafood dumplings - both outstanding. My favorite besides the soup was the chicken Pad See Ew - amazing to the enthe degree!
I also dropped a little Sawatdeeka on the host (Hello greeting) and a Korbkunka (thank you) at the end. I got a beautiful bow and a surprise smile from our server - whom by the way was gracious, on point and beautiful. GO now!

Stylish and on the whole good, they have been sloppy with the delivery orders in the past but are quick to refund or credit the issue. Mussaman is my fav, thick beef sweet stew.
