“Nothing Fancy But It More Than Fills The Bill”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 28, 2013

Quick tale. We usually stay in that area at a great Hampton Inn by the airport...but when we had to visit during the week we discovered they charged almost double the weekend rate. Too much for just a good place to hang your head for the night so I asked a few locals and I had this place recommended to me. Hey, for what it cost it was much, much more than adequate. It was a squeaky clean room with a nice new looking bathroom AND they had a huge flat screen that filled the entire top of the dresser. No restaurant. All you'll find is a pop machine and an ice maker. No frills...but The Burbank Inn and Suites more than did the job. Added bonus is it is yards from the entrance to the freeway. And all of Burbank is just minutes away. Try this place. A good place to catch some zzz's in the Valley.

We found this hotel while driving around looking for a place to stay in Burbank. The location (on a main road and near a freeway) nearly put us off but it had no effect and we had 2 very comfortable restful nights. The other reviews are correct in so far as they have no major amenities save for a coffee and juice dispenser in the checkin area (but they are clean and actually work) and yes the pool is small but we found it very clean. Yes they could do a lot more with what they have BUT we found it very clean and comfortable and the room we had was very nicely decorated, clean and seemed quite new. Newer than many others we have stayed in for the same money. The room had a couch and coffee table as well as a desk. We were told all the rooms are identical. They have no resaurant (they are always average and expensive anyway) and don't do breakfast but there is Downtown Burbank just up the road with heaps of great places on San Fernado Blvd. Burbank seems a pretty good location if you have a car and want to do all the usual tourist things. The room had a fridge which kept all our supplies. In summary if you want a good sized, clean and comfortable place to sleep then we would recommend this hotel. I basically agree totally with Denise D. Yes the staff are casual but not rude and seem to spend all their time making it very clean which is better than others we have stayed in. We would stay here again.

It's not inspiring. The front lobby has no furniture. The room didn't have much to recommend it, either. There's no landscaping. There are no real amenities, save the tiny, unattractive pool. Everything is grey or beige. It's very basic: they've spent no money on anything that might give the place charm or color.

Hotel is right next to the freeway on-ramp, and it's quite a walk to anywhere else.

It's the Motel 6 experience, for twice the price. You can probably do better.

Thank you for reviewing our hotel and I would like to apologize for your experience. We've spent the last 2 years renovating the rooms and furnishing the lobby and are dissapointed the property did not reflect this. We hope you will stay again and we will continue to make improvments here at the Burbank Inn & Suites. Thank you.

Thank you for posting a review of our hotel and I would like to offer my sincerest apologies for your experience. Although its rare, sometimes guest will pull down the smoke detectors to try and smoke in the room. We then have to deep clean the room to removed as much of the smell of smoke as possible. It is a burdensome and timely process for us. We have inspected all our rooms and they are up to code with smoke dectectors. All of our rooms have single cup coffee makers. We apologize for the confusion by the lack ot coffee pots. We hope you will stay again and have an improved experience. Thank you.

A business associate who has stayed here for the past 10 years recommended this family run hotel. It's perfect for short business or vacation stop overs. It has recently undergone a remodel and although it looks like a typical motel from the outside, the rooms are nicely furnished to include iron, ironing board, hairdryer, small coffee maker and frig. No microwave.
You can get juice or coffee in the small lobby, but no other breakfast is offered. Important point: this motel is located about 1 block from 1-5. But once you close the door to your room (and ours was facing the highway), you could NOT hear any traffic noise. The bed was extremely comfy and we slept wonderfully. Air-conditioner worked almost too well, so be careful not to crank it up too much. There aren't any restaurants within walking distance (we were dropped off there - so no car), but we walked under the over pass, about 3 blocks to the HUGE Ralphs grocery store. If you make your reservations, you might want to do it on-line. The owners are very casual, so that when we went to check in, our phoned in reservation was written on a piece of scrap paper. Not computerized.

Room Tip: We stayed on the second floor. No noise facing 1-5.

We enjoyed our stay at this place, although it is on the corner of two busy roads. This was no problem. The room was quite big, very clean and the service was nice. We were a bit confused, because there were only very few people staying at the inn, even over the weekend. Anyway, we would choose the inn again.

We stayed here after the Tangerine hotel double booked our room....so we needed a place to stay. The furnishings are great and well taken care of. The nice lady managing the hotel was great. It doesn't have a restaurant or bar but if I was in Burbank on business and needed a simple place to stay I would definitely stay here!! Didn't use the pool but it is quite small....might be better to turn it into a hot tub. After posting a negative review about another hotel on tripadvisor I remembered that this hotel did a great job and deserved a good review.
