I used to go to my local Bob's Big Boy all the time when I was a kid growing up in Phoenix. So did my husband. I was even a member of the birthday club and got all the Bob stuff, (wish I had hung onto it.) All of the Bob's in Arizona closed a while ago, so we had to stop at one of the few remaining on our trip to LA. It was a Wednesday night at about 8 and it was a busy place! Not packed, but quite a few people there. All kinds, families with kids, couples, individuals and a large group in the back. We were greeted with a smile and seated quickly when we came in. Our server was pleasant and efficient. He also had the large group so he was busy, but stopped to check in with us often and we never felt forgotten. We of course had to have the Big Boy, my daughter and I split one with a salad and fries. It was just as delicious as my husband and I remembered. The daughter loved it too. After we devoured everything in front of us, we had to have a malt for dessert...yummy!! Left full and happy. Took a picture with Bob outside. Fun diner atmosphere, totally reminded me of my family meals at Bob's. Wish they were still as abundant as they once were, but so happy a few remain and thankful to those that keep them around for us to enjoy! Todd bad we missed the cars on the weekends, we'll just have to go back!!
