“Awesome "Behind the Scenes" Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 9, 2013

This tour was fantastic! Instead of being lost in the masses, the tour was by tram that held less than 20 people. It was even somewhat personalized with the guide asking if we were more interested in movie sets or tv sitcom sets. Our guide was so knowledgeable, sharing the workings of the tapings, as well as historical events. It was so awesome to see sets of some of my favorites like Ellen, 2 1/2 Men, Big Bang Theory, etc...

We took the metro rail from Hollywood and then got on a bus going along Riverside Dr. Even though this is the driver's route, he didn't know what he was doing. He dropped us off at the corner of Pass and showed us which way to walk, which we did and we walked and walked and walked! We finally found a WB gate and was told we would have to walk another mile, going back towards Riverside, to get to the main entrance! So, if you are taking a bus and the driver tries to drop you off at Pass or the next stop, DON'T GET OFF! Go down a couple of more stops and you will see Warner Bros. main entrance right there!

“Great experience! EJ was an awesome guide!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2013

After living in LA for 3 years - my boyfriend and I received a gift certificate to do the WB VIP Studio Tour. We absolutely loved it! We have been to many TV tapings, film sets, backlots, etc. - but we still learned many new things from this tour. We took a family member from Utah - and she was blown away by everything that goes into making film and TV magic. We were able to see one of the largest sound stages in the world, see the working set for 2 Broke Girls, many backlot filming locations, the FRIENDS set and the super cool automobile and costume museums. For those interested in seeing the inner-workings of the "biz" - this is a great, personal way to do it. The Universal Studios Tour is always fun - but it's very "cheesy" and catered to the theme park adventure. This tour was so much more personal and educational.

E.J. was our guide and he was AMAZING!! Incredibly smart, TV/film genius. I was over-hearing the other tour guides that weren't nearly as in-depth as E.J. I'm very grateful he was our guide and would request him next time we take family there. Spend the $50 on this! It's well worth it - and you also get a free printed/framed photo.

Plan on $7 cash for parking - arrive 20 minutes early - and make your reservation ahead of time online.

“Great Tour - for anyone who enjoys television!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2013

My family enjoys television and to find ourselves walking through the back lots past recognizable houses and storefronts was just great. The tour is a little over two hours and the guide spoke the entire time sharing good information and anecdotal stories. (Thanks, Nate!) The group is small (our tour had 11 people) and there is ample opportunity to ask questions, and even includes a free photo of your own group. We toured on a Saturday morning which I would recommend as it gave us access to the set of "The Big Bang Theory". During the week the sets are being used and aren't accessible. For those who love Harry Potter there are great costumes and props to be seen. For "Friends" fans, the entire coffee shop is intact and you can have your picture taken on the couch. As a fan of "ER" I enjoyed seeing the actual "EL" train tracks and steps where so many significant scenes were filmed. During most of the tour you can take pictures. Inside the studio and the museum you cannot and there is a place to lock up your camera in the tour cart. You should not carry really bulky backpacks if possible because you have to lock up your purses/packs. There is plenty of space to lock up a regular sized purse. This tour was worth the money!

“Great tour.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 26, 2013

We toured on Saturday morning, so no stars on the lot to see,but it gave us access to areas we would not have seen otherwise. Very interesting to go inside the studio of your favorite shows. Lots of neat gifts to buy, plus a Starbucks there also.

Me and my family became very impressed with the organization and profissionalism of the VIP TOUR. We spent 2 hours seeing the studios and took pictures seating at the famous sofa of Perkins from Friends. Saw The Big Bang Theory and Two and hal men sets. The museum of Harry Potter was superb, but photos were forbidden. We made our tour on Sunday, so was very empty and without traffic. We bought our tickets previously from internet. We recommend this tour.
