Excellent prime rib and French dip sandwich. Will definitely come back again. Excellent service. Didn't meet any big Hollywood stars though.

Very comfortable seating, good quality food. Close to the 101 freeway for easy access. Across from Burbank studios.

Great Bar area and different rooms for eating. Food was good quality and service was good. Still have red booths and nice table linens. The price comparable to other dinner houses. Lunch time there are many people from Bubank studios across the street. $3.75 parking fee or park on the street if there's room.

“If only you got what you paid for.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 26, 2012

I suppose if you live in Los Angeles and simply must know what it's like to dine at this venerated old restaurant, then it's worth the expense. But for those who are spending a limited time in LA, I think it's better to skip The Smoke House. The regular dinner menu is overpriced, and the food is old school - and not in a good way, like at Musso and Frank - but the weekend brunch is HILARIOUSLY expensive, and only worth it if you plan on packing on enough calories to last you a whole week - which you could certainly do. Plus, the upkeep on the place is not so good. A close look at their carpeting is enough to put you off your food altogether. If you're in the area of the WB studios, there are so many other places to eat that won't make you feel like you've been suckered.
