I always check TA first prior to making my selections. But I was an invited guest so I did not have a choice this time. Usually I try to ignore the reviews that say “the concierge was rude and unhelpful” or “our bell-boy was surly and ill-dressed”. I care about the facility being clean, safe and adequately heated or cooled.
When we arrived there was no one in line, so we were checked in instantly. We received adjoining rooms that were fine for our needs. The room had the usual hotel décor, usual amount of room, plenty of cups and towels. First thing I do is peel back the sheets and look for bed-bug evidence. None found! There was plenty of hot and cold water, the air conditioner worked and the heater worked as well. The window did open to allow some fresh air in. Several times a day Snoopy would make an appearance in the lobby and at night he was dressed in his PJ’s.
KBF was a short walk and for the price we paid, $13 for law enforcement, it was a great time. Not very crowded, no real lines, and there was enough to keep everyone happy. The employees were not a hugely happy bunch, not rude, but not exactly the go-out-of-the-way types. One great thing was if you wanted to ride again, you could without getting off and back in line again.
We ate at TGI Fridays-nothing special and VERY slow! The restaurant inside the KBF hotel was GREAT! I believe it was called Amber Waves. We all had a different form of seafood and it totally rocked! Great service as well.
We paid $85. a night again as a law enforcement rate and I would not hesitate to stay again.

I haven't stayed at the Knott's Resort since I was a kid. Unfortunately, I think the carpeting is still the same from my childhood. I am not going to rip this resort. I will just say that it is dated...and needs some updating. However, we were really only in the room to sleep, so I knew from previous reviews that this wasn't the Ritz and that was okay with me.

I liked the location and the package deal to get into the park. We prefer Knott's for the kid friendly rides and refreshingly short (if any) lines. Even the coasters had no lines all through the day and especially at opening.

The restaurant was a good value for large families, and the food was fine...nothing to get excited about. This is the one hotel where your kids can run around and not be out of place.

The room was fine...sheets were clean , but it is a little dated in the bathroom and the carpets need to be replaced. I had dinner with my cousin at the Disney Grand Hotel and it is certainly a different experience than that. However, as long as you are just looking for a clean and budget-friendly place near the parks, then Knotts is fine.

i had thought of cancelling due to the bad reviews , but glad i didn`t ok its not a marriott or the ritz but then your not paying those prices , stayed here twice total of 7 nights over 2 weeks .
had great rooms spotlessley clean new shower curtains and bed covers new carpet in one room very comfortable . for $65 i paid it was faultless , do`nt be scared to try it .
the only downside is some of the staff some are great some are not so great , i didn`t get my daily paper then was told it only arrived on sunday now ? travel brochure says every day , and the very expensive internet, all other hotels in the area are free
cost me $20 to do online checkin for flight home .
if you only need the room and don`t have any query`s for staff its a geat mid price stay , its when you need help thats when you take a chance on who`s on duty

Well, we arived at the hotel at about 3:30 PM after a LONG day of flying and had are room in less than 5 minutes of waling into the door! (There where atleast 5 people infront of us and 3 people working on the line.) The Desk people where very nice. Well let me say this now, there are 4 people with us, Me my wife and 2 kids. We got into to the room and where excited just to rest, Later that right we visited the Pool, BTW This is one of the best pools I HAVE EVER seen it was huge!

The first day we went into the park for non-stop fun! The whole family enjoyed it! Another great thing is the hotel/park are located 5 minutes away from Disneyland witch was also nice ( we all liked knott's more :) We also visited Six Flags witch was about an hour and a half away and had fun there.

Overall the hotel was awesome and even has snoopy visit the room! the kids went crazy! it was awesome :)
