“Its no Disneyland but it is still AWESOME”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 28, 2007

Disneyland isnt called the worlds happiest place for nothing. You cant expect anything better than Disneyland, obviously, but Knotts Berry Farm is still a great place to be. I personally think the rides are much better at Knotts than Disneyland because at Disneyland there pretty much only is Space Mountain and everyone goes there for that. But at Knotts there are many amazing rides like Sidewinder, Ghoast Rider, Silver Bullet, Big Foot Rapids, Monazoomas Revenge, Supreme Scream, Boomerang, La Revolucion, Xelerator, Perilous Plunge, Rip Tide, and a lot more!!! I totally recomend Knotts Berry Farm a lot. I am going to Knotts right now bye and thank you for reading!

“Great as long as you're not expecting Disneyland”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 22, 2007

This is no Disneyland, but as long as you go in knowing that, it's really pretty good. We went during the Christmas season, and everything was very pretty and festive, including a craft market. There was a place to take old-fashioned pictures, an impressive ice show, and plenty of chances to take pictures with Peanuts. There's plenty of stuff to do for teenagers and adults, but I think what I was most happy with was the children's rides. There seemed to actually be more rides and games for smaller children than there were at Disney, and it was probably because of the weather, but there were little to no waiting or lines.

“This is NOT the Magic Kingdom...save your money”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed November 4, 2007

OK, our expectations were that this would be a fun theme park like that of Disneyland and it was not. We checked the Weather Channel to see what the weather would be like on our arrival and it said it would be sunny, when we arrived, it was raining. We paid to park our car, bought a couple of wind breakers and headed into the park. 1st thing we noticed was how quiet the park was, both people wise and ride wise. We went on one roller coaster and the big drop ride and then, that was it. Because it was raining, they closed down all the rides, so, in less than an hour we were done.

They have a halloween night event there are alot of covered up areas, the park is mostly concrete with no themes at all. It felt dark, cold and boring. After being a fan of Disney for so long, it was hard not to be disappointed in Knott's...the only real draw card is the chicken dinner, which we missed out on because the line was so long as no one was in the park. We asked for a refund and at first they offered a voucher to take up within 3 months for each ticket and then a year to use it - being from Australia we made the point of asking for the airfares to allow us to use the voucher and they were nice enough to offer us our money back in full.

Play it safe and give Knott's a miss.

“knots's berry farm is awful”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed October 20, 2007

We went there tonight. We left in one hour. The lines were between two to three hours long for every attraction. Two employees said they oversold the park, and shared their concern about safety. We requested a refund along with several others and were rudely told no. This place is a safety hazard and very poorly run. Avoid KBF at all costs. What a disaster!!!

“1st Visit to Knotts”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 15, 2007

If your going to Disneyland and Knotts, i highly recommend you visit knotts first so you wont be absolutely shocked! knotts is a far cry from disneyland...It just doesnt have that fun, happy, safe atmosphere disney has.

We went on July 11th,2007 (spent previous day at disneyland) Many rides were closed or not opened, the employees look like they couldnt care less, some rides look old, many food shops closed(even at midday). We meant to stay the whole day but were done after 2 hours.

That being said,
-Silver Bullet was insane, if your a thrill seeker that is the ride for you :)
-Montezoomas Revenge is great, a bit short though.
-Bigfoot Rapids was great, though the one at disney is better.
-Calico MineRide is more for the kiddies
-Johnny Rockets is a good choice for lunch, was empty when we went, reasonable prices & good service.
-The lines for rides were non existent, longest wait was 1 min.
-Sky Cabin is really a waste of time, doesnt feel very safe either, looks like screen is falling off!
