The staff at this hotel are outstanding. Make an effort to learn your name, preferences, etc. Always greeted very professionally as well as personally! The beds are the most comfortable around! Love, love, love!

The hotel was very clean and the staff was very nice, friendly and accommodating. The breakfast buffet was very good and offered so many choices. It was especially comfortable sitting in the corner of the bar with the couches. The location is very convenient to the airport and to the "city". And surprisingly, close enough to take an afternoon trip to Pebble Beach. I would definitely stay again when I come back to San Fran in a few months!

The Doubletree by Hilton San Francisco Airport North location was nothing short of FANTASTIC!!! EVERY PERSON ON THEIR STAFF was extremely polite and accommodating to our every desire. I usually stay at the Hilton Financial District or Union Square and have never experienced service anywhere close to the level this location provided!

Two nights, stayed in Feb (when it was still the Radisson, before the conversion to the DoubleTree). The facts, and only the facts: Room was not ready on arrival. First room had gross unchanged bed sheets with... hair in the bed. Called housekeeping to complain. Two housekeepers arrived and changed all sheets and blanket. Then I turned on the heater and noticed the drenched wet carpet under the heater. With red mold stains! Reason: Water continuously dripping from heater onto carpet while the heater was operating. Contacted front desk, got coupon for free breakfast, moved to a different room, which had a central-air wall thermostat. By 2 AM, it became apparent that in the new room, the heater was not working. Called maintenance. By 3 AM after 40 minutes of troubleshooting, they found that the wall control unit had a busted circuit board, had to be opened up and reattached, alleviating the problem. Second breakfast coupon for the new trouble followed promptly. Morning, departure day: an odd power outage disabled only the restaurant (but not any other part of the hotel), so I could not even use the breakfast coupon. No 24-hour room service. No food within walking distance. Restaurant, if even open, closes at 10pm. (UPDATED: Adequate compensation for these troubles was offered during my stay and was, indeed, received exactly as promised after the stay. Again, I couldn't fault the staff for doing their best under challenging circumstances, and hence I rate the service as Excellent.)

Stayed there one night prior to a flight at SFO. Hotel is on the water, about 10 minutes from SFO and has everything you need. Try the egg white, mushroom, and artichoke heart scramble for breakfast...healty and tasty, the breakfast buffet is nice too. Manager Christine was delightful and helpful. The housekeepeing staff is warm and always smiling...the free airport shuttle is newer and has leater seats, nice ride.

The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The location is convenient to the airport, city, and the peninsula. A previous guest had spilled coffee on the carpet, but other than that the rooms were clean and comfortable.
