I will start with the Branzino the (european sea-bass) the skin was CRISPY giving it a perfect balance of texture & bold flavors of citrus with a tad of sweet, not overwhelming on either flavors, truly a NICE balance! It was a great recommendation by our waiter. I was skeptical as I have had EXCELLENT Branzino, prop's to the chef as he NAILED this fish dish!!!
As for the sides, the spinach was a bit over cooked but nonetheless it was tasty. My favorite side was the bellpepper dish, now that was delicious.
My husband ordered the Flatiron steak cooked med rare, they cooked this piece of beef just right. However the polenta was weak, definetly not my favorite. I am not sure what all the hub is about on the reviews, I have to disagree it was a let down on every level. The side dish of onions had sooo much balsamic that I wondered if someone lost the cap in the pan as they were cooking it, it was so acidic, not good!
Unfortunatley, the finale the "tiramisu" was not all that (what a bummer) they added so much rum the cake lost its texture & tasted soagy, however, the overall flavor was not bad. I will give it another shot as I am sure it was just that batch. Their coffee was great.
All in all our experience was good. The wait staff was super friendly & accommodating. The ambiance at Bruno's is cozy without the pretentious vibe (which is always good), the noise level is down to a minimum and the patio is really nice. We really enjoyed the outside seating.
I hope they purchase wine glasses SOON... using water glasses for wine (yikesss)!!!
