I've been coming here for 10 years, and have Always enjoyed their strudels, whether as a tart, cake or those rectanglar-sized ones which serve 8-10. They have several excellent varieties.
Surprisingly, there aren't many bakeries in the South Bay, and if there are Euro pastry shops, I haven't discovered them yet.
However, I've been ... um .... disappointed by the other pastries here, and I've tried dozens of selections. Perhaps I'm comparing them to French or Italian bakeries in San Diego, but (for me, ok?) these choices look amazing, but fail to deliver.
We've eaten here for breakfast and, well, the coffee is unremarkable and the non-strudel offerings are just ok.
The prices, however are low for Bonita, and the staff is always friendly.
