On the recommendation of the hotel, we went there for a late night (almost 8PM) fish and chips "informal" dinner, and although they were cleaning up, they happily fixed us up with a 4 piece cod and chips dinner big enough for both of us with a very fresh tasting tartar sauce for $10. That is a better price than anywhere around, and the place is cute although maybe a bit "diner-like" in decor for some. It's family run and they clearly take pride in the food, which is what matters. Fried food is always a big question mark, and if the frier is too low a temp, things get greasy fast. This was perfect and crispy with just enough battering to add flavor, but not bury the fish.
