Stayed at the Budget Host for one night in September 2010. We were travelling from LA to the Grand Canyon and chose to stop over in Blythe. We decided on the Budget Host as it seemed to be the one of the cheapest of the many hotels / motels in the area. Think we paid $45 + taxes per night.
Our room was really quite large in size, with a big bed, table and chairs, plus other chairs dotted around the room, a fridge, a clean bathroom, plus air conditioning. There was a small open-air swimming pool in the centre of the car park. The pool was fine to swim in, with only a few flies to dodge. The sun loungers were however a bit rusty and old.
The area seemed to be a typical gas/fast food/motel stop. We ate dinner at the Sizzler (steakhouse) opposite the Budget Host. Then stopped for breakfast the following day at the Starbucks drive-thru.
The Budget Host was fine for a one night stay.
