“Great for one night, passing through town”

The front desk attendant was friendly and helpful, the room was clean, and breakfast in the morning was good. It is a typical motel, nothing fancy but clean. I booked and paid online ahead of time, so the price was very reasonable.

Let me start by saying that the front desk help was very nice. When we first entered the room it was ice cold, this hotel has outside corridors, the outside temp was about 35 degrees and the rooms temp wasn't much better, we immediately turned on the heater. The reason the room was so cold was the weather stripping around the door needs to be completely redone, cold air from outside was flowing in constantly. When the heater started to warm up the room there was an incredibly strong perfume smell. The beds where pretty good but the pillows hurt our necks because they were too thick. There were no choices in pillows.

The light switch for the bathroom was on the wall behind the door so you had to close the door to a completely black room and find the switch. There are no windows in the bathroom so no outside light. The exhaust fan that turns on with the light was really loud.

The free breakfast was different types of cereal, instant oatmeal packages, bread for toast, frozen premade waffles, fresh fruit, coffee, milk. Everything looked clean and neat.

This motel needs a little bit of upkeep and repairs so the next time that I have to stay in bishop I'll stay someplace different

Room #116 door was hard to close, but closed upon letting door slam or by pulling hard. everything else was great. Service was excellent while being very friendly. Very quiet, peaceful.

This was our second stay at this hotel and it was great. We drove straight from San Jose and it was a long 6+ hour drive and we had the warmest and most helpful reception by the front desk lady. We were tired and just wanted our key and to get to our room and she was very pleasant, had useful information to share and made us feel very welcome.

The room was in front of the hotel, the single-story ones, and it was very easy, everything worked well and we were really comfortable. Location is great and just off the main road/395 and near the middle of the town.

Room Tip: The single-story ones in front-left of the hotel are best as they are quieter, only share 1-2 walls...

On our way to Reno we made a stop over at this motel in Bishop. The room was very small and dark. Just like most older motels/hotels there never seems to be enough electrical outlets. What few outlets there are were filled with their stuff, TV, hair blower, alarm clock etc. The breakfast was not good at all! Very little to choose from, the usual cereal, mini muffins, toast, pre made waffles that you put in a toaster, juice and coffee an bagels, that might explain why all though the motel seemed to be sold out, when we went down there was no one else there and that was at 8:30am, Would we stay there again....I think not...there are several others to choose from!
