“Best experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 14, 2013

Okay so it might not of been the best food experience ever...but... We were passing through from Mammoth from Perth, Western Australia, we decided to call in and get a takeout breakfast. 3 hours later we walked out and said to each other that "that was one of the highlights of our American Adventure!!! We were so welcomed, lots of stories by the owner, we felt like we were in the Owners home. Food was good, not great, but if you are a tourist, it was fantastic.

“home kitchen feel”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 30, 2013

The food has a home cooking feel, its not gourmet but its tasty with huge portions kinda of a play on words with the restaurant name. Its family operated and the owner is very friendly, the atmosphere is very unique and kinda of odd its not fancy but it has a cozy feel where you feel like family.

“Moldy English Muffin as part of my Eggs Bendict”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed March 6, 2013 via mobile

I was super bummed on my Eggs Benedict due to the moldy English Muffin. The only positive side was that they didn't charge me. The waitress was very apologetic & overall she did a good job.

“Very inconsistent avoid all you can eat "special plates"”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2013 via mobile

Camping in the desert makes dining out a special treat so when we saw an all you can eat Mexican food plate on special we dove right in. The food was mediocre bland and not particularly warm. I have heard of local friends having great meals here and others having horribe experiences with nothing in between. Consistency seems to be there largest problem. Maybe you will get lucky but I would recommend avoiding this restaurant.

“Unusual take on cafe food but good”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 31, 2013

We ate lunch traveling home from Mammoth. Very fast service and inexpensive. HIspanic bend to food. I had BLT with avocado on wheat bread . My husband had open face urkey sandwich- no gravy but a whoel avocado and cheese. He liked very much. Brewed ice tea good too. Parking in front and rear and patio in summer.
You can get your taxes done while you wait too.
Very family run.
