Based on the reviews here, we went to Himalayan Restaurant for dinner. My husband ordered the Lamb Roll which was moist and tasty with a nice blend of spices. Unfortunately my experience was sub par. I ordered the Garlic Chicken Sekuwa and it arrived sizzling on a platter with chunks of white meat chicken and fresh lime. The chicken was so dry and over-cooked it was inedible. I asked the server to take it back and she offered me the option of covering the chicken in a sauce or ordering something different. I told her I would prefer to order a different dish. The server left and the manager came over and insisted that I try the dried out chicken with a sauce. Attempting to avoid a scene in this small restaurant, I agreed to try a sauce. Instead, my Chicken Sekuwa was returned to me in a styrofoam take-out container. Ten minutes later the bus boy brought a dish of white rice accompanied by a bowl of marsala sauce. We then requested the check on which no adjustment had been made for the unsatisfactory chicken dish. I recommend that visitors to Big Bear skip the Himalayan Restaurant.
