We stayed in Beverly Hills over Christmas. We wandered in here for breakfast one morning -- had already done the long wait and very expensive Nate 'n Als (good, but just once per trip) and wanted someplace quick, cozy and reasonable.
We were shocked to get one of the better breakfasts of our trip. Delicious, really fresh eggs. A little fruit, bread and potatoes... all for under $8.00 . Coffee was expensive, but delicious... and the waitress kindly refilled our lattes with regular coffee over and over.
We sat in the back by the fire, on bright pillows, and took our time. Honestly, I think that this is a breakfast bargain in the heart of Beverly Hills. Our waitress was especially kind and welcoming... so much so that we returned two days later for a repeat. I would highly recommend this place for a good, reasonably priced breakfast (or just pastries... they looked good, but didn't try them) in a nice setting. We spent almost 3 times as much at Nate & Al's for a pretty equal breakfast the day before.
Can't speak to lunch, but at least have a cup of coffee there, and rest your feet after shopping!
