We stayed at the Beverly Hilton in August 2006 for 2 weeks' with our two children, age 5 and 3. Having already stayed in Los Angeles on previous holidays, we decided that the Beverly Hilton was a more centrally located hotel for what we wanted to do.

The rooms are lovely and were serviced promptly each day. We loved the wide screen TV in the bedroom and the bathroom was quite large (another TV in there too).

The swimming pool area was wonderful and the pool was consistently at a very warm heat. The staff around the pool couldn't do enough to help - food and drinks were supplied quickly and there was plenty on the poolside menu for both us and the children. The pool staff were very attentive and when it got very busy one of the weekends, did their utmost to ensure guests were looked after.

Breakfast was either a buffet or from the a la carte menu (my husband loved having a big T-bone steak for breakfast!). The views from the top floor restaurant are fantastic and in August it was lovely dining outside.

The location of the hotel is perfect for Universal, Hollywood and the beaches. It's quite centrally located and close to the main shopping - Rodeo Drive and the fantastic shopping village, The Grove. Disney is only about 40 minutes away too. We had a car for two weeks - you need to factor in the car parking charges at the hotel each day too.

All in all a wonderful hotel and one we will definitely visit again.

We stayed here for 5 nights and had a lovely room with king bed, very modern and a great bathroom too. The room had a great big flatscreen tv with loads of channels and a tv in the bathroom too.

The hotel itself was really nice and staff seemed friendly and the concierge was helpful too.

The bar was great to chill out and have some drinks, they were a bit pricey, and so were the mini bar snacks, but hey its Beverly Hills!

We had a car so it was easy to get around LA and would definately recommend a car as LA is so big! Its a great city though with lots to see and do.

Rodeo Drive is within walking distance, but you would have to walk for miles to get anywhere else so a car is the way to go while in LA.

Would recomend the Hilton for a luxurious, comfortable stay.

If you are staying in Beverly Hills, there is no other place you will want or wish to stay. We only stayed one night, but regret not booking a longer stay on our recent vacation to Hawaii / LA / Vegas.

We stayed in a suite in the Wiltshire Tower and from driving into hotel to leaving we could not have been treated better. This included bottles of ice cold water in our valet parked car when dropped off at reception and the Tower Suite Manager visiting our room to check everything was ok, after we checked in.

The flat lcd TV's in our bedroom, toilet and lounge, were excellent and keep our two children happy. We had a very comfortable king size bed with top quality bed linen, while the children slept on a double pull out bed.

Great location to visit Hollywood, Bel Air, Beverly Hills, Rodeo Drive, etc, all within an easy drive......but ask for the complimentary luxury car to drive you to the local services.

We will be back to this hotel in the future...hopefully many times.

My Family just got back from 7 days at the Hilton. For anyone staying in Bevery Hills theis is the Place, Staff was super, rooms are perfect ,Circa 55 was great. We stayed with our 2 yr old everyone was kind. He loved the 1400 gallon fish tank in the lobby. OH..... The BAR serves STARBUCKS they have an actual coffe machine tastes great..no need to go to the corner to the real SBUX. Balcony was huge spa was great but most of all LOCATION,LOCATION, & LOCATION.

Walking distance to Rodeo, and Beverly. To newbies just take N Whittier exit make left and go straight takes you right to the beach. Santa Monica Pier.

Highly recomended.

Very nice hotel. Rooms are larger than typical, are nicely decorated, and have all the modern amenities (plasma TV, etc). But....not all rooms have been renovated to the same quality standard. My room was in the main towers, where the rooms have received the full upgrade, but I learned from management that rooms in the other sections are lesser rooms. They don't charge you less for these rooms, so be aware that there is a decent chance that you may end up with a lesser room than what the folks here rave about. My recommendation would be to stay elsewhere. You are paying a lot for your stay at this hotel so why take a gamble? There are plenty of other choices where you will not encounter this wildcard. One more thing: make sure they don't assign you to the lower floors (2) in the main tower. You do get a nice patio, but it is walled in so that you don't have to look at the roof of the meeting rooms. So...nice rooms, room assignment is a carpshot, and some of the nice rooms have views beyond lousy.
