We chose this hotel as we are Hilton Honors members and try to stay Hilton wherever we go.

I was surprised arriving there as it looked so OLD from the outside - but once we stepped inside it felt much newer. Lobby was nice - lovely shops - although one had sprung a leak while we were there.

Had an interconnecting room with kids which was lovely. Rooms are freshly furbished. We always order turndown and received yummy choccies on our pillows. Bathrooms were great - wonderful showers with nice amenities. Beds were so comfy!

Continental breakfast came free for us Honors members. Restaurant was basic for breakfast - except for the big bowl of raspberries which my daughter demolished! Lunch buffet was excellent. Dinner was a problem - we arrived in late and the restaurant shut early and their bar was not a place to eat with 3 kids let alone nothing to purchase. We room serviced which was fine - but it took a while.

We laughed at how hopeless the rental car company inside the hotel were - they took forever to fill out paperwork for us to rent a vehicle - something that normally takes us a few minutes in Australia took 45 minutes there! But then again - service in the USA as a whole is of a really low standard.

The highlight was coming back from our day out and finding John Travolta in the hotel lobby! Couldnt believe it!

Hotel was in a great location and easy to get to. Highly recommended.

I stayed at the Beverly Hilton on the night of July 23rd. We were only in town for one night and decided to treat ourselves. After reading the great reviews on TripAdvisor I was fairly confident in the hotel itself, but was a little apprehensive that we'd stick out in the crowd as obviously not from Beverly Hills. From the moment the valet opened our car door the moment he closed it and wished us well on our next leg of our trip (after providing easy driving directions for us and giving us some chiled bottles of water for the ride), I can confidently say that we were treated just as well as anyone else in that hotel whether they were small town or big time Hollywood. We got a package special from the hotel's website that included breakfast and a massage. The spa was absolutely divine. My husband and I ate dinner at Circa 55 (very good except the Caesar salad wasn't something I'd recommend), each had a late night massage, relaxed for a drink afterwards at Trader Vic's, watched a surfing competition outside at the pool deck on a large screen projected at the wall, and then ahd the best sleep I've had in months in our semi-standard room. The maid stopped in around 6pm to offer to turn down our bed, gave us some chocolates and a flower, refreshed our towels, etc. Everything in the room worked, was clean, updated, and exactly what I expected. The next morning we had our complimentary breakfast buffet. I thought the watress might treat us a little different since we weren't "paying" but she (Rosa) was so nice and friendly, she made us feel like we were at home or regulars there. Definitely worth staying there, even just for the experience!

  • Liked — Service & Cleanliness and the history of the hotel
  • Disliked — Just the Caesar salad at Circa 55. No other possible complaints.

Horrible! I can't say enough bad things about the Beverly Hills Hilton.
Conference in May 2008 - some of our attendees left the hotel & conference early! Their rooms were never cleaned, any requests for towels, pillows, or even rags to clean were met with disdain & requests for payment for extras! How embarrassing to us!!

Conference rooms were disorganized, A/V equipment did not work and we were *still* charged full price for each piece for each day. $6 per can for *warm* sodas, $40 per plate for buffet of cold food, cold eggs, cold sausages, undercooked raw bacon, no juice or milk, only coffee - which was $50 a gallon and horrible tasting! We made do without mikes one day & still had to pay $400 for each day for "microphone system". No amount of arguing with the "managers" explaining difficulties during problems & afterward, nothing convinced them that they were at fault in any way.

I tried to get a final bill the day after the conference & they said they'd mail it. I called the next week, nothing, "Oh, we'll have that soon!". The week after that, my card was blindly charged & when I saw the $30K charge, I called for the bill. "Oh, we're still working on that." "Really? then how'd you charge my card already?" " We didn't."
I complained to AmEx, who said they'd get the bill. Several days later, the complete bill arrived, which doesn't add up at all, no credits for all the problems, and I was to have a comp'd room as organizer, but, no, they charged me for each night, saying people checked out early - even though those people paid in advance - and that negated the one free room.

After all that money spent, I just wonder how many customers I've lost due to the Beverly Hills Hilton.

Stayed for 4 nights in early July. On check in I was in one of the rooms in the old wing - apparently the majority of expedia bookings go here - these rooms have been refurbished but the bathrooms have not.

Was offered an upgrade for $40 per night which given the rate I got on Expedia was a no brainer.

Room was great with the most comfortable bed ever.

Hotel has recently been done up which has restored it back to the 50s movie star glamour. Pool is great with chilled out music playing in the evening. Staff told me that the hotel owners were planning on building a high rise in place of the swimming pool - this would be criminal as its such a stylish place. Good gym as well.

All in all great especially for the price

From our recent stay at the Beverly Hilton, we can only say good things. The hotel, its staff, and all of its services were excellent. As you might expect being in the center of Beverly Hills, room rates are pricey, but you get what you pay for. In particular we were taken aback at the friendliness and service orientation of the staff. The service could not have been better. The hotel was immaculate at all turns. It turned out to be a great place for star watching as well, as there was a series of TV network functions taking place there all week and there were stars galore. The hotel staff actually went out of their way to help guests view and converse with celebrities, which was highly unexpected. The hotel's convenient location near Rodeo Dr (within walking distance) and other local attractions also made it stand out. If you want to be in Beverly Hills, near the action, and get a great hotel experience, the Beverly Hilton is a great choice.
