“Great Hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 16, 2013

I recently stayed here and came back home a few days ago. I stayedin the Oasis Tower. The beds were very comfortable and I was able to have an extremely nice sleep every night. We had a double room which consisted of 2 double beds and 1 sofa bed, the room was very spacious and well designed. The only problem I did have was the view outside of our window, there was nothing to see except for a brick wall and a few buildings in the distance. The TV had a lot of channels and you are also able to rent brand new movies on there too which will then get charged to your room. We were not able to get much sun light into our room unless we left the windows open as the windows were tinted. Housekeeping were amazing and very friendly and they constantly made sure that we had everything we needed. The staff overall were very friendly and kind. We also made use of the free hotel car which can take you up to a 3 mile radius. We used the car quite a lot, especially when we were travelling to century city which is less than a 5 minute car journey. You can also get free Wifi in the hotel lobby, but you are unable to receive it in your room unless you pay for it. The price was not reasonable and my only complaint is that it should have been free. We made use of the gym and the swimming pool which were great. The gym contained free bottles of water, towels and apples for you to have whilst you are working out. Rodeo Drive is a 10/15 minute walk and there is also a Starbucks 2 minutes away which is a lot cheaper than the hotel Starbucks. The food was standard and over priced for what it tasted like. In my opiniopn, there was not enough of a choice of food that they offered and I began to get sick of their food after a couple of days. Overall, this was a fantastic hotel and LA is a great place to catch celebrities. I would also recommend going to the Grove shopping centre as Mario Lopez is there from 9-3 filming 'Extra' which is a news show. They have different celebrities on the show and you are able to get so close and sometimes meet them.

Room Tip: Wilshire Towers is the best place to have a room.

I have stayed at the Beverly Hilton many times and each and every time I come I am so impressed from the Valets at the front to the housekeeping staff and everybody in-between!
The room I had this time 520, was bright and had a balcony. it is nice to get to open the big sliding doors to get the fresh California air in the room. I can't stand hotels where I can't open a window. Both the food I had through room service and in the Trader Vic's Restaurant was tasty and served from a friendly staff.
So when in LA this is where I would stay since the Peninsula across the street is out of my reach:)

Room Tip: Ask for the new wing where the elevator goes up from the lobby!

Stayed in the Beverly Hilton the past few days. Excellent choice. The beds were comfortable, the staff was accomodating and the grounds are beautiful. We had a view of Century City and it was amazing. The pool is georgous and they play movies/videos at night in the pool area. I would definitely stay at this hotel again in the future.

Room Tip: The Wilshire Tower rooms are very nice.

Great stay in a king deluxe balcony on 7th floor. The balcony was huge, with sweeping views in LA in the distance. Rooms was modern and comfortable, with a stylish bath with walk in shower. Fitness lovers with enjoy the large and well equipped fitness center, great jogging trail right across from entrance, and pool large enough for laps. The location was great at the end of Wilshire, walking distance to Rodeo drive (and a less glamorous Rite Aid for necessities). I got a weekend rate for $185.

A very nice hotel. Stayed here in business with a large group of 150. The service on the meals were excellent and they really manage large companies very well. The hotel in itself is a little worn, but the historical feeling is definitely there. ;) nice pool area and breakfast restaurant.

Recently stayed in the Beverly Hilton with a group of friends. The staff made a fantastic impression and were extremely helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The valet staff were great, really friendly and great at anticipating a group of five girls every need - helping the driver into her heels after the journey, complimentary bottles of water and carrying our shopping. I was sorry to leave them behind when we left, they all stood in a line waving us off!

The reception and lobby area is great, really clean and modern which I think emphasised the tired decoration in the halls and rooms. Whilst the rooms were clean, they could have done with a fresh coat of paint and a bit of updating. I do think that my grandparents would have loved the decor though so perhaps a group of 28 year olds aren't the target market!

All in all a great stay and would definitely return, the service made such a good impression. The location is also fantastic for getting to all the must see places.

We were booked into the Beverly Hilton as part of a package holiday so we cannot comment on the room rates etc as we paid a package fee. What we would like to comment on is its location.
We found the Hotel to be extremley well located on the residential edge of Beverly Hills, its within easy walking distance of Rodeo Drive and other local attractions.
The concierge and reception staff were extremley helpful in supplying directions to specific shops, local cafes etc.
Being located at the Corner of Santa Monica Blvd and Willshire Blvd helped us as well as we used Public Buses, (Stops very close to Hotel) to travel to Santa Monica Beach, To Hollywood and to Down Town LA. Buses were quite frequent, we found it paid to try and get a Rapid Transit Bus in preference to the regular ones as they stopped at fewer stops so were quicker, Same Price.
Also located within about 500 - 600 metres from the Hotel is Westfield Century City shopping complex where you will find everything from department stores , supermarket, Cafes and restuarants and specilty stores.
The Hotel also provides free WiFi for guests in the Lobby area.
