Spend 2 nites at the Beverly Hilton and just want to say it was a great experience, the employees were great they could not do enough for you, we had wonderfui rooms overlooking the front with a nice balcony (you should call couple days ahead and ask for this type room as we did) the pool was lovely and overall it was very nice and would recommend to anyone. thanks

After reading other reviewers' mixed impressions of the Beverly Hilton, I was slightly concerned when I won a four-night stay at the hotel for $85/night on Priceline. I made sure to request a renovated room and received one on the third floor. Other than a less-than-impressive bathroom (tiny, fluorescent lighting, stained marble, had to request a hair dryer), I enjoyed a very pleasant stay overall. The room was large, decorated in shades of green, yellow and pink, with a minibar, writing desk, floor-to-ceiling windows, etc. While the front desk staff were a little chilly, requests by other staff (pool area, housekeeping) were quickly met with a friendly smile. Enjoyed a full day sunning by the beautiful pool and had lunch in the nearby restaurant. Parking was expensive ($21 for self-park, $24 for valet) but given that I paid such a relatively low cost for the room and that street parking was non-existent, it was worth it.
