“Very pleasant luxury”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 26, 2012

Had a very pleasant stay at the elemeritage and would have liked to spend a day or two more at this very exclusive hotel.
The atmosphere is great, all the staff is very helpful and focused on every detail, the rooms are very comfortable and quite spacy and it was very difficult not enjoy every minute in this luxury hotel.
On top of this the location is very good

this hotel has been reviewed 200+ times so not much i can add that would add value.
we stayed for 3 nights starting march 31st from Ireland en route to Bora Bora.
the hotel is very classy. we saw an actress ( remain nameless) in the gym when we were having a run on the treadmill one early morning)
the concierge is excellent organising trips. we did the TMZ tour! they arranged our dinner one night at Mr Chow and lunch one afternoon at Chateau Marmont ( saw an actor get in the lift)
i told them we were recently married and we had a bottle of champagne in the room complementary on arrival. we only paid for a basic room but got a room upgrade - fourth floor overlooking Burton Way.
one other thing to remember rooms at this hotel ARE MASSIVE. perhaps twice the size of other hotels . they are gorgeous
brilliant time in LA , brilliant hotel .

Room Tip: ask for a high room looking over beverly hills

I stayed here with my husband in November 2011 and still talk about our experience to this day. It is THE best hotel i have ever stayed in in my 30 years of existence. My husband surprised me with a trip to America for my 30th birthday and on our last few nights he had booked this hotel as he knew i wanted to relax and unwind before our big flight home to Australia.
The staff here are genuine. I really dislike staying somewhere where they are nice to you but you feel it is fake and have that feeling they will gossip about you when you leave. Here, they were very friendly and welcoming, and you could have a nice chat with them.
Our first night, we went for a stroll and got some dinner, when we returned to our room there was the biggest slice of chocolate cake i have ever seen with birthday wishes piped on the plate. It was so wonderful to receive and i thanked my husband, but he said he cant take credit because he didnt know about it. I realised, it was the front desk upon our arrival had found out why we were staying, then sneakily planted it in our room once they saw us leave. It was just wonderful.
On our last night we checked out in the morning but our flight wasnt til 10pm at night, they suggested we have an enjoyable day and evening then come back when we were ready, collect our bags and use the gym area so we could freshen up for our flight home. I still remember what the lady at the front desk said when i was very thankful - she said, of course, you are guests with us even once you have checked out. I remember thinking WOW this place is just the best.
Also, just when i thought it couldnt get any more perfect as we were walking along the foyer to leave we spotted Bruce Willis sitting down having a drink. We were so excited. It was the perfect ending to an amazing holiday

Stayed here three times and it's a must if you're staying in Beverly Hills.

Quiet location but v close to BH.

The best thing by far is the size of the rooms. They have timezones across them.

Room Tip: Look for the free night deals.

I researched and visited several hotels in the Beverly Hills/L.A. area before booking our 5-day Board meeting at L'Ermitage. From the planning to the actual stay, everything was exceptional. Alicia Dill (sales manager) was gracious, knowledgeable, and eager to be helpful in setting up the logistics. Christine (concierge) went out of her way to make sure our group had a great experience. The rooms are lovely, the food is amazing, and the staff is efficient and friendly. The location is the best --- walking distance to the shops and restaurants, but well out of the hustle and bustle. Every person in our group raved about their experience. For future trips to the L.A. area, I will not stay anywhere else!

Expect the best and you won't be disappointed. I have been to many high class resorts on the west coast and this one tops them all.

"Everyone knows your name" has never been truer. Always greeted by a kind and genuine person from the cleaning staff in the morning to the parking valets and the front desk wishing a restfull night.

The rooms were beautiful as we're the views. Everything was where it should be and felt very spacious and calming.

The room "turn-down" service was like none other. Normally, the room set for the evening and the bed turned down is a norm but this place takes it one step farther. They folded our clothes that were scattered due to a quick change-and-go and placed them back in our luggage or hung up the formal garments. They then lined our shoes against the wall and left water by our bedside tables for the evening.

It going to take a lot to top this experience.

Thank you everyone for such a great stay!

Large rooms, clean and comfortable. Staff very helpful and accomodating. Great location for shopping and restaurants; neighboorhood is pretty to walk around. Lobby bar is nice for cocktails and snacks. Nice gym and spa. Rooftop pool is beautiful. Low-key and elegant.
