Last night was my first visit to FGC for my friends birthday. Overall, I was not very impressed. The food was good, but not excellent. I have to admit that I did not try any of the meat so its not fair to say in my own words the flavor. The group I was with did tell me that the best meat was the Garlic beef. The least favorite was the lamb. They all pretty much thought the rest of the meat had similar flavors, not very distinguishable. I had the salad bar, which was not very impressing. There was only 2 different cheese platters: Havarti and fresh Mozzarella. There were 2 types of salad: caesar and baby spinach mix. The green beans and asparagus were not great. disappointing because these are the two things I usually look forward to. The best thing in the salad bar was an apple and pineapple salad. very good and not too sweet. They servers brought tons of mini bread rolls to the table. They were great. The servers and staff were very attentive and friendly. We were seated near a wall and I did notice there was grease stains and oil on the wall. It was a bit disgusting. Other than that the place was very clean and well kept. The price was approx $58 for meat & salad bar. $28 for salad bar alone. (not worth it). we order 4 shots of don Julio $56. very expensive. The other ordered was the house drink ( a type of mojito.) $13. I ordered a seven and seven. $8. Everyone said all the drinks were very strong. The server told me they make the drinks 90% alcohol 10% filler. wow. Our bill came out to $302 for four people. 2 had salad bar and 2 had full bar. gratuity was not included in that price. so... I probably will not come back here for a while.
