“Lunch at Barney's.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 26, 2013 via mobile

A great find on the 5th floor of Barney's LA. Wonderful setting and a great breakfast or lunch find.
All the salads are good and lox and bagel combinations are fantastic! Great service and try some of the coffees.

A good local find.

“Go for the egg cream. Food is very good too.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 23, 2013

The egg cream here is the best. Even better than the home of the egg cream--New York. And it's only 50 cents. Biggest bargain anywhere. If you don't know what an egg cream is--it's chocolate syrup, seltzer and milk. By the way it dos not contain an egg or cream. The best drink ever. To go with the egg cream I love the smoked fish--especially the baked salmon (my wife prefers the white fish) and bagels that they serve. You can sit outside if you like.

“Perhaps the best lunch we've ever had in the USA.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2013

Take a patio table with a view of the Hollywood Hills. The menu is diverse with something for every taste. Both our meals were very generous portions and excellent, as was the service. This will be a regular on our visits to LA.

“Noisy restaurant with greasy food and bad service”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed January 6, 2013

This restaurant is filled with divorced women spending their alimony checks, showing off body parts to maximum advantage; salon tanned shoulders, face lifts, boob jobs, etc. The food is adequate except on the greasy side. The service was poor with a bad attitude. They were very much interested in getting you in and out rather than letting you feel comfortable and satisfied. In addition, the space is noisy and the tables are very close to each other.

“fun lunch spot especially for out of towers”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 7, 2012

The food here is upscale, California deli. What you really go for is the great view and ambiance. There is a rooftop terrace with beautiful views of Beverly Hills. It's always busy so even for lunch you need a reservation. Noteworthy that parking in the Barney's building is super easy and they validate.
