I purchased a luxury corner king room off of travelocity for $270/room. This was advertised as being larger than the standard room. It was very tiny--I can't even imagine how small the standard room must be.
The room was nicely decorated and clean. I had a window facing the street but is was very quiet.
If I were able to get the room for a much lower price, I would stay a the Mosaic again but I don't think it's worth $270/night + $20/night parking. The room was beginning to show its age: the carpet had a large pinkish red stain by the side of the bed and the wallpaper in the bathroom had stains on several different spots. I was also disappointed with the hotel staff's nonchalant attitude. When I arrived in my room, I noticed that there wasn't the usual book/pamphlet of information about the hotel's services. I called down to the desk and asked about this and was informed that I should have received a "welcome" letter that provides this info. The bellman delivered this to my room. I called down later to ask for the price menu for the spa items. Again, I was told that this should already be in my room. The bellman made a second trip to deliver this. On both occassions, the staff failed to express any hint of an apology for these missing items. Not a big deal but--for the price--unexpected.
I also had problems connecting with the internet (would connect at times and not at others). I called down to the front desk and was told to try "unplugging the cord and plug it back in until it works." Again, not especially helpful.
A nice hotel but not worth the expense.
One final note: this didn't bother me but for those who are sensitive to noise: the walls in the hotel are very thin. When I was in my room, I could hear conversations in the hallway; when I was in the hallway, I could hear conversations in the adjacent rooms.
