My biggest gripe is the price, for $70, that is like a vegas show. It is at a very fancy hotel and if money isn't an issue, I would say definitely worth going.

if you eat and get valet validation at restaurant, only $12, vs "event" validation which is $16.

1dress code. although website makes it look very formal, many audience members dressed casual and dress code not enforced so don't worry if you won't have a suit on. saw men and women dressing casually.

2. the magic itself was good, he is great performer, lots of interaction with audience, material appropriate for children. relax atmosphere, a little on slower side. if you are a magician the magic won't blow your mind away. close up material, don't expect big illusions or dove productions or anything big like that. elegant atmosphere

3. tickets are $60 or $70 (front row) + $5 processing fee. the room is very small and there is absolutely no need to get front row tickets. does seem to sell out so if you are out of town, might want to plan ahead. show last 1.5hrs. no need to get there 20min early as website suggest.

I brought 34 guests as a super birthday celebration, and all have gotten back to me saying how thrilled they were with Ivan's show! Even more, several are returning for more -- the ultimate compliment. Ivan and his cellist were both fabulous. If you want magic spiced with very funny comedy and ultimate entertainment, you will love this evening of wonder. Ivan involves many in the audience, so there's a great chance you or your friends will be in the show! Ivan's performed for many years at The Magic Castle, and he's now found his special niche. Go and enjoy -- take some friends -- they'll thank you for weeks! Thanks, Ivan, for a most memorable and magical night!!

it was truly an intimate magic experience. very private and Ivan gets everyone involved during the show! Ivan makes every person in the crow feel like they are part of the magic show. He does spend a lot of time talking, but that is not a bad thing at all. Most magic shows waste their time playing loud music to the left and to the right to confuse everyone. but not Ivan... He make it very interesting. He tries to make everyone feel good and personally talks to EVERY SINGLE person at the show!
I got over excited at times.. but this is amazing! DO NOT MISS THIS SHOW!
just wait until the end and crazy magic happens... =D

I walked in to the sassy and classy Beverly Hills Wilshire never expecting what I experienced! I've been to several magic shows in vegas but never any in LA and this was the most different experience yet. I friggin couldn't stop laughing at the hilarious humor the magician had (good looking too) and then best of all he didn't have the same ol' tricks as the rest! He had some VERY COOL UNIMAGINABLE tricks I could never think of how it'd be possible lol Love Love LoveD the goldfish trick and the very last trick with the time date and all.... I would highly recommend it. He also is very personable and acknowledges his crowd and gives you a sense of comfort in a weird way :).
