THE BEVERLY TERRACE ON DOHENY DRIVE is the worst hotel that I've ever visited! The bedspread-blood stained; Bath tub- filthy-mildew on the walls--curtain stained!! Filthy fabric covered side bench; Rusty-towel holders; filthy walls, dirty carpet. Homeless-looking people live here. I have photos to prove my findings!! Do not stay here!!
I didn't after viewing the room, pool area, and the check in areas!! Not a first class hotel by any means. It's a cheap motel. The three star rating is erroneous! It's listed as a choice hotel in the Beverly Hills Magazine!! What a misleading advertisement!!!
The $100/night is WAAAAY too much for this place!!

I am a guitar tech with the band, Monster Magnet (monstermagnet). On a recent US tour, our bus driver insisted we stay here. Myself and everyone on the tour loved the place. The location is great. The front desk lady and everyone else I met on staff were very nice. The pool area is wonderful (including the continental breakfast). The single rooms are pretty small. I had a suite with several other crew members and it was lovely with a nice view of the street and Beverly Hills fountain. As far as I'm concerned, it was one of the most memorable stops on the tour. I loved it and hope to stay there again soon!

Well, it is so interesting the various experiences
people have at a hotel. Perhaps at the BT,
the rooms vary. Our experience was okay,
but we would not stay there again. Our room
was so tiny, that my husband and I could
not pass by each other at the foot of the
bed without stepping into the tiny restroom.
Everything was stained - the very thin and
unattractive carpet, the walls, the bed spread,
and even the sheets had blood stains on
it. Yuck! The parking IS a challenge. The front desk people are not real helpful when
it comes to giving directions. We also felt
scolded because we did not know that we
could ask them to book a sightseeing tour
for us - we did this on our own - and was
kinda' scolded for doing so the next morning
when waiting for our bus. The air conditioner
was a very noisy window unit. The small
refridgerator was also very noisy and stained.
The wall are so thin we could hear someone's
television 3 rooms down from us.
And just to let you know, as one reviewer said
some of the bad reviewers must be "freaks",
my husband and I are certainly not freaks. We
are average midwesterns who want clean
sheets, parking, and friendly staff.
When we arrived at this hotel, there was
a couple leaving, and obviously having some
disagreement with the lady at the front desk.
They were told they would still have to pay
for their room even if they weren't happy
with it. Not a good sign, but we were tired
and wanted to get out of the traffic, so we
stayed there.

To whom it may concern:
We recently stayed two night at The BHT. Upon arrival we were pleasantly greeted. The decor of the lobby is great, very artsy. Parking wasn't a problem because it's included in the price of the room, along with a continental breakfast. The courtyard near the pool is great, relaxing, great furniture and the continental breakfast was great as well. The pool was nice with plenty of shaded areas or sunny areas with chairs to relax on. The staff was friendly, especially Donna at the front desk. The house cleaning staff was also helpful. When we asked for a bottle opener one evening, the house cleaning staff rushed right over to us and provided us with an opener so that we could relax by the pool. Amici the Italian restaurant within the property was excellent. Four of us had a great bottle of wine, appetizers and dinner. We would highly recommend this place. The russian lady recommended it to us. The decor and location of the hotel were perfect. Red curtains and artsy vases and things. A bit small but, it worked. The location is prime to everything. Ony 1 mile from sunset strip and santa monica blvd. Anything you want to do is right there within walking distance or a quick cab ride right down or up the street. Now for the Negative. We were in room 215. The lobby, the pool area were fine. The walk up the stairs and through the hallway to our room was the worst I have ever experienced. The stench coming from the hallway and the stairway was so horrible it smelled like someone died or someone that didn't know what a shower was, as in HORRIBLE BO. MY GOSH I ALMOST THREW UP EACH TIME WE WALKED TO OUR ROOM. The room itself didn't smell but getting to it was the worst experience in the world. The health inspector and board of health and safety should pay this place a visit and get rid of the stench once and for all. WE WOULD LOVE TO STAY THERE AGAIN IF THEY CAN GET RID OF THE STENCH. GET THE DEAD BODY OUT OF THERE OR WASH THE CARPETS, WALLS AND STAIRCASE PLEASE. That's all! Overall we had a great weekend, but the hotel definitely needs some changes made in order for us to stay there again.
