When in Berkeley we always stay at this hotel! 2-3 times a year
The location and the price is right! Near everything! Manny makes us feel at home.

“Great Value that Didn’t Cost an Arm and a Leg”

The good things: Competitive pricing for the Bay Area; location is fantastic with a lot of interesting restaurants close by; BART and the University within easy walking distances; rooms are fair sized and very clean; Wi-Fi was extremely fast and easy to log onto; there was free parking; the check in and out was fast and efficient; there is catered room service close by.
The not so good: The motel is aging and could use a renovation; the continental breakfast is very minimal (plan on eating out and you won’t be disappointed); the area around is like many diversified college areas in large cities with the good and the bad.
All in all, we had a very enjoyable overnight stay in Berkeley and would not hesitate to stay at this Travel Lodge again. My partner is already planning our next trip because it didn’t cost us an arm and a leg.
