This beautiful campus is the home of approximately 60,000 students, who study among redwood trees punctuated with a creek meandering through the University. It is the home of many outstanding professors, including ten Nobel Prize winners. Sproul Plaza was the scene of the Free Speech Movement and the People's Park riot, which traveled down Telegraph Avenue. There are many beautiful buildings, including the University Art Museum, which houses the Pacific Film Archive. The world's largest collection of antique Microscopes donated by Dr. Orville Golub, has it's own building in which to view these amazing scientific instruments. A lovely campus for one of the top Universities in the US.
