“Great location, mediocre food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 7, 2013 via mobile

Pricey with good views of the lake. The food is average so I guess you pay for the view. They have a captive audience of tourists ; no locals ever go here since ownership changed a few years ago.

“Very nice place for a beer or to watch a game”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 8, 2013

This is a famous bar on bass lake, I would go there again, the prices are reasonable and the view is very good. There have been some movies filmed there so this is a very nice venue

“Lake View on deck with cooling misters”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2013

Upstairs is the bar and grill at Ducey's. A more casual menu with burgers, sanwiches, and salads. Prices are average for a lake resort restaurant. A BLT was $9 with fries. Very good. Beer and Wine and non-alcoholic beverages are served. Sit down dining, with tables inside and on the deck. Water misters cool down the deck tables when in full sun. Very pleasant. The deck overlooks the marina and a small beach area where motorsport crafts are what you watch and listen to. Casual dress mostly people wearing bathing suit cover-ups and flip flops in late August, while others wore polo shirts and shorts.
Burgers looked good, and the salads too.

“Not as stellar as expected”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2013 via mobile

The setting of Ducey's is just fabulous. The views are stunning and the restaurant is inviting. The food during my visit was very inconsistent. The salad was so tasty with basalmic dressing, the apple tart dessert was heavenly. The main course was disappointing. The filet was ordered medium well, but was very red. The rice was barely warm and the mushrooms a little bland. I was also surprised by the service which was a little lacking. My water glass sat empty for over a half an hour. We frequently needed to ask for drink refills from the bar. Overall, it was a decent experience I just expected more due to the reputation, prices, and atmosphere.
