5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 30, 2009

My family has enjoyed Bass Lake for several years. We have stayed at all of the resorts on the lake. We prefer the Forks resort, not just because they have the best food on the lake, but they make you feel welcome and accomidate your every need. There prices are fair and the place is clean. You will be glad you booked your vacation with the Forks. You are going to love there restuarant and general store.(not to big and not too small).

Our first trip to Bass Lake, Ca was a nightmare by staying at The Forks Resort.
Our cabin was for 6 people and we had 5. The rest of our party of 6 stayed at the campground as they wanted to 'tent' camp but, we all got together during the day for boating, fishing,BBQ at night and just relaxing. Well, the owner of The Forks advises me that the cabin is for 6 people only--even during the DAY !! What kind of nonsense is that? When camping people get together all thru the day. Not more than 5 people slept there--which is what we thought were the rules.
Aside from that-- if you do stay--be sure NOT to ask for more toilet paper or paper towels. They use one ply for both so you go thru alot more--and all we got was 1 roll of each for 4 days.
