“Still not completed...”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 17, 2011

We stayed on Jan 15 2011. Firstly the map address provided on tripadvisor was wrong which made life difficult as we were driving ourselves. The desk manager at the time did meet us on his bike and showed us the way which was good. The staff were very nice, the rooms clean, modern and new. The bed are inner-spring but rock hard.... and we have stayed in some hard beds while trekking in India. Pool still a big concrete hole in front of hotel. Food - limited options but we seemed to be only guests in hotel on this day, saw not another soul. Otherwise I must say the food was really good! Biggest annoyance was electricl generator outside our room, hotel still has no mains power so it ran all night and was LOUD! I dont know why we were put in the room direcltly above it when there were many other options. The state of the hotel makes me suspect highly that some reviews of this hotel are from th owners themselves. Otherwise, if a hard bed and generator noise doesn't bother you, this hotl is a good place for a stay-over.

Great place to relax and enjoy the service and ambience away from the bustle of the city. Children have the boating to look forward to and the adults can indulge in a game of basketball for fitness and fun apart from the indoor activities provided.

The food is simply in abundance and very tasty. The staff are very helpful, obliging and caring. Just relax in the comfortable rooms and unwind after a hard day out shopping or sight seeing.

Ernakulam: PJ Princess Regency: " Nice rooms, Good Food & Chirpy & Efficient Staff "
Date : December 27th 2010
" I and my daughter were booked into PJ Princess Regency for two days by my friend who informed that he had decided on the Hotel because it was new and had a quite environment which he knew I would enjoy.
True to his word both of us liked the rooms ,amenities and the tranquill surroundings. The swimming pool was a small dissapointment , though as we wanted to swim but the pool was still under construction.. But, to compensate the Manager had made arrangements for a cruise in the backwaters which I am sure would have been very relaxing but we could not match the time because of other engagements.

I am sure people will find this a great place to stay and will want to come back to, more often.
I would certainly like to go back and enjoy the swimming pool which should be ready soon, as well as the cruise the moment I get the chance.

A very pleasant surprise at the end of a long ride from the airport. The hotel is very clean, of international standards, staff are extremely pleasant and helpful and go out of their way to make you comfortable. At the time we arrived the hotel was awaiting classification and mains electricity supply; however all systems were working on two generators. They were expecting the mains supply before the official opening on 5 Dec.
The IR 99.00 for the sunday buffett is value for money-the food-variety, taste and presentation is world class and i was amazed at the standard. The management team consists of highly qualified staff with a great deal of experience and that is evident in each department. I wish the Hotel every success and hop that unlike lots of other buildings etc in India Princess Regency will take pride in maintaining their building as well as their standards. Alex and Rachael

I was one of the first users of this hotel. We had our annual President's Dinner of rotary over there ( A Lunch and Picnic - whole day affair).
The ambience is superb....at par with all 5 star categories. The rooms are modern and up to date. The large grounds, proximity to city as well as secludedness, gives it an aura which makes you feel good.
The staff were very friendly and right from the moment we arrived to the time we left, we felt pampered.
The food was also fantastic ( though we had a full veg affair).
I would definitely recomend this hotel to all.

What can I say? Simply superb! Hot & Exotic!!

The location: In an island close to Cochin city connected by bridge from one end and ferry from the other.

The ambience: Provides an exotic feeling from the time you enter the property. The pictures say it all.

The rooms: Cosy, spacious, modern, technologically advanced.. Romantic atmosphere..

The food: Classy restaurant, excellent food, beating all standards...

The service: I have no words to express it, one has to experience it..

Amenities: Walking track, Swimming Pool, Boating, Indoor Games & Guess what! a full pledged Basket Ball court!

In one word - par excellence!

This is recommended for those who are not just looking for a place to stay, but a place to enjoy and relax. Do I say more. You be the judge.
