We've been returning to Pink Beach year after year; we love the friendly staff, the excellent breakfasts (in your room or at the outdoor breakfast buffet), the comfortable accommodations, and most of all we love the beach and the snorkeling. You only have to go a few feet off of the beach to see an amazing panorama of tropical fish; lots of parrotfish (which are big enough to be visible from the shore as you look at the waves), and all kinds of other fish, around submerged rocks and coral. And you don't even have to bring your own snorkeling equipment -- they have a beach-side shop, from which you can borrow all the equipment you need for no charge.
Dinner offers two options -- outside, around the pool, or inside. Inside is a little more formal, outside has a few more choices, but both offer delicious local fish, good meats, and vegetarian options. There are two things I'd like to see changed here. One is the fact that there are no televisions except for a single set in the bar. Nobody goes to Bermuda to watch television, but it's nice to turn on the news early in the morning, or to watch a movie on the occasional rainy day. Watching local TV is a good way to learn about the place you're visiting. The hotel now has a fairly robust wi-fi system, but still no television.
The other thing I'd like to see changed is the front desk; it is utterly chaotic, with a staff that is certainly friendly, but can't quite figure out how to meet people's needs. For example, there is a "laundry and dry-cleaning" slip in the room, and it offers a same-day service; when my clothes failed to materialize by 6 on the day, I called and was told "housekeeping is closed for the day, you'll have to inquire tomorrow". Not "let me check and call you back...", not "I'll get a key for the housekeeping office and see if it's there", but "you'll have to check tomorrow". All the other staff is properly trained to meet guests' needs; the front desk staff seems to have their own set of rules, and "the customer is always right" is not one of those rules.
However, the chaos at reception did not spoil our vacation, and it shouldn't discourage anyone from visiting this wonderful resort; just be prepared to practice patience and humor when dealing with the front desk staff.
