“So glad we stayed here!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 21, 2012

Pink Beach Club delivers old style elegance, comfort, cleanliness and serenity, with an extremely attentive staff who will try to accommodate you however they can. The food was superb and never disappointed, we absolutely recommend the meal plan. The nightly piano player was a wonderful added bonus while we dined. The dining staff was on par with 5 star restaurants. The view is spectacular, and the two beaches are so convenient being right on the property. PBC provides beach gear as well as snorkeling and tennis equipment (2 private courts), at no charge to guests. Motor scooters for rental can be delivered upon request. Proximity to Hamilton is ideal, only about 15-20 minutes, and 10 minutes from the airport. We had read a few negative reviews (with which we completely disagree) and almost canceled our reservation, now we are so glad we stayed here! Yes, the hotel does need some minor attention to maintenance (the result of difficult economic times) but the staff bends over backwards to provide a wonderful stay for their guests. The accommodations were well appointed, classic, clean and comfortable (absolutely NOT threadbare as one review said). Provided toiletries were top notch, towels luxurious, robes and slippers were also provided. The initial charge per night may appear high, but the value of this hotel for comfort, cleanliness, location, fabulous food and amenities cannot be disregarded. It is an excellent choice which we hope to make again.

Room Tip: Ocean view rooms are worth every penny!

We spent 2 nights at the Pink Beach Club in August. The resort is tired and poorly kept and in desperate need of renovation. The rooms and the food were extremely poor for the price we paid and there is a COMPULSARY $31.00 per person per day "service" charge. On top of the exorbitant cost, expect to tip $72.00 per day for surly service and poorly attentive staff. Also, the rooms have no TVs or WIFI. The location is ok but there are far more beautiful beaches in Bermuda - Spend your money somewhere else!

Love the Pink Beach Club - if you want Bermuda - this is it. Beautiful beach, pink cottages, friendly and courteous staff. It's cheaper than a lot of the properties around, and feels quite exclusive. The rooms are huge with a fabulous view. The food is excellent. The pool is salt water. It's not particularly "frilly". There is no room service apart from for breakfast (and hot food at breakfast starts at 8am - but there is continental available from 7.15am). There is no TV and no internet in the rooms, but free wifi at the clubhouse. I must say, if I was looking for an improvement, it would be to put wifi into all the rooms. It would make a big difference, especially if it is raining, you don't want to walk with your laptop to the clubhouse to pick up emails etc. It's just a lovely quiet vacation spot with a beautiful beach. Love it.

Room Tip: If mobility is an issue make sure you ask for a room near the clubhouse.

This trip marked our sixth time in Bermuda and third stay at Pink Beach Club. As in the past, PBC did not disappoint. The rooms, clubhouse and beaches are superb. PBC represents the best of "old" Bermuda--from the traditional furnishings and architecture to the requirement that men wear jackets at dinner. It feels refined without being snobbish. And is a place where you'll find couples interspersed with multi-generational families on vacation.

As noted in my previous reviews, other resorts have private beaches, tennis courts and gourmet dining, but what keeps us coming back to Pink Beach is the service. The staff at PBC is the best in Bermuda, and there is amazingly little turnover. From the front desk and bellman to the restaurant to the maids and grounds crew, the staff at PBC always takes the extra step to make you feel welcome and well cared for.

The resort's location is one of the most convenient in Bermuda--just a 15 taxi ride from the airport, an easy moped ride to both Hamilton and St. George's, and near a number of attractions from the zoo to the Swizzle Inn.

Please note, Pink Beach Club is not for everyone. Some negative reviewers lament that there are no tvs or internet access in the rooms, that the resort is quiet and/or that the furnishings don't feel modern enough. But that's the point. PBC is a place to unwind, relax and escape. It is not a place where you go to party or stay connected to the office. It is refined. It is elegant. It is special. And I hope it stays that way.

Room Tip: The ocean front junior suites seem to provide the best value and view. We've stayed in Searock...

I couldn't believe how terrible the quality of this hotel was!! We booked this hotel based on some of the reviews we read online, which were FAR from accurate! We paid an exorbitant rate ($700/night) for a hotel that had virtually NO guests, no TVs, and bad food. It was simply not worth the money we paid. The next night we went over to the Reefs, which was amazing by comparison, and we only paid $500 for that night.

To anyone considering staying at the Pink Beach Club, you should NOT pay more than $300 per night MAX. You should get what you pay for, and we most certainly did NOT.

Beneath the pretty facade (Bermuda Pink) and beyond the pristine uninhabited beach lies a rotting retch of a hotel. The furnishings are disgustingly threadbare and depressing. No TVs or wifi in the rooms adds insult to injury. The food is passible, but nothing to write home about. If you stay here you will envy every other hotel on the island. On a positive note, this establishment is near the Tucker Point golf course and hotel that you should have booked instead. On another positive note Pink Beach is only a $20 cab ride away from many other places between Hamilton and St. George's.

We stayed 4 nights and did the breakfast, dinner and afternoon tea meal plan. Everything in Bermuda is expensive, so the meal plan was a good value. The food was amazing - 5-course meal every night. Breakfast included omelettes, pancakes, french toast, juice, cereals, etc. You won't go hungry. The resort is secluded and even though this is supposed to be the high season, it wasn't ever crowded. We were completely alone on the beach several times. Btw, we liked the "West Beach" better than the "East Beach" - the east beach had a rock shelf instead of sand for a little ways out (in the water - you wouldn't know it until you get in). The water was a little rough a couple days and this made it hard to stay on your feet if you just wanted to wade. The West Beach had sand and was even more private. Property is hilly, so be prepared to walk some hills to get to the clubhouse / pool. Also, no TV and no WiFi in the rooms. We had to go to the clubhouse to check email. Not a big deal for us, but maybe for some. Our absolute favorite thing was the view. We couldn't get enough of it. The blue-green water, the pink sand - exactly what we had always heard about the Bermuda beaches. My only negative is that the decor is a little dated and it looks like about 30% of the villas are uninhabitable. I think Pink Beaches' prime was probably about 15-20 years ago. This didn't bother us since our condo was fine and the service was great and staff was very friendly and helpful. Bottom line for us was that we loved the spectacular views - got up early on our last day to see the sun rise over the blue-green water.
