“Fantastic little hidden gem!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 8, 2013

What can I say, absolutely fantastic. Stumbled across this B and B whilst looking for somewhere to stay for our 10th wedding anniversary and it certainly didn't dissapoint!
The service is on par with that of any of your luxury hotels Sarah and Tom are both very acommodating and nothing is too much bother. Breakfast in the morning is cooked to order and extremly tasty.

We stayed in the Oak room which was beautfully decorated and finished to a very high standard, the bedroom opened onto a decked patio with access to the hot tub which was just great, relaxing in the evening under the stars.

Definately worth a visit

We stopped for one night on our way back home. The B & B is in a lovely quiet part of the country. There is nothing to fault. The bed rooms are spacious; There is a warm and homely guests' room to unwind in; The couple who run the property are warm and friendly.

Not much to add to all the other comments as feel the exactly same. The stay was prefect and we will definitely stay again when in the area.

Only downside is my wife is now searching for similar bedding for me to buy her as she had such a wonderful nights sleep!!

There is no fault to be found in this excellent B & B. ..but there is plenty of warm and kind hospitality. (Great value too). The award for excellence is well deserved and my husband and I highly recommend this B & B.
Beautifully presented and peaceful, with generous hosts.
And yes, there is a hot-tub...though we didn't actually use it. Perhaps that might have been the only slightly awkward thing if there had been other guests, as the hot-tub is on decking which can be accessed (and also overlooked) by one/two guest rooms. But hey, who needs a hot-tub with such other comforts all around!
We stayed in a twin room, with a private bathroom. Their 'best' king-size room is superb and would make for an enjoyable few nights' stay.
The dining area perhaps a little tight if fully booked and eating at the same time? But we were the only guests eating, so was comfortable for us.
We were also encouraged to relax in the residents' comfortable and spacious sitting-room and were offered welcoming refreshments on arrival and when returning after our day's outing. This all made for a refreshing and relaxing two night stay for us. Well done!

Myself and my partner stayed here in August this year. This was an excellent B and B, the owners were very helpful, breakfast was excellent. The room was exceptionally clean and the hot tub was a nice bonus !!!

Glenacres B & B is a finalist in the Scottish Thistle Awards and it must be only a matter of time before they achieve the top spot. It is the most fantastic place to stay and would be everything anyone could possibly want from a B & B. My husband and I, and the friends we were travelling with all wanted to buy the house and the whole atmosphere is just perfection. We can't wait to go back there and we will recommend it to all our friends and relatives. Sarah and Tom have thought of everything and the tray of tea we were met with by son Euan was most welcome. Even the gorgeous brown labrador Muddy seemed pleased to see us
