“Standard Soller Fayre”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 26, 2012

Got the last table for two un-reserved on 22nd Sept. It was on the Restaurant side they seem to save the ones nearer to the Port for reservations which is fair enough. It was not too bad having people walking past, plenty of people having the rock cooked and skillet meals. I went for mussels which were large and in in nice spicy sauce, the mussels were large though rather 'salty'.

Followed this up with a grilled chicken and a nice sorbet. Service was pretty normal as it was quite busy. Pretty good value but standard food and service for Port Soller which has many similar restaurants serving similar food.

“Rude waitress!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed September 6, 2012 via mobile

We really did like the look of this place although it didn't seem as busy as some of the other places but decided to give it a try anyway! After a few minutes the waitress came over and we decided to ask what she recommended off the menu of the day. She didn't seem best pleased about us asking and seemed to roll her eyes so we just ordered. I ordered a glass of red and my partner ordered a beer, when the drinks came out she brought him a glass of wine instead by mistake so he politely explained he ordered beer to which she started to argue with him! Food was average attitude even worse!

“Lovely views, service slow, pricey kids meals & small portions for kids too”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 31, 2012 via mobile

We visited Soller on a cloudy day. We sat down at a table on the edge overlooking the port. The menu was a little limited but we decided to go with tapas & lasagne for the kids. We had a set menu for just under €17 each this included 3 tapas, glass of wine, pudding & olives with bread & Ali oli. The bill came to €49.50 & the lasagne was a small portion not enough to share. They did give the kids a free pudding, not sure if this was an error or not?
Food was nice but would probably try somewhere else next time

“Our regular port of call in the port.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 7, 2012

We've been using So Caprichos as a regular lunchtime location for the last few years. It represents great value for money with a 2 course lunch with wine for under €17. The bream or bass is always perfectly grilled with a lovely crispy skin, a fine sprinkling of herbs & a nice salad plus chips. They also offer a grilled meat, chicken, lasagne or tapas, all good though not tried the lasagne. The house wine is great & pud always comes with a flourish. Service can be slow but we just enjoy the complimentary bread, olives & aioli......& relax with the lovely view.

“Disappointing.... poor service”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 23, 2012

We did arrive without booking and were left unattended while the waitresses walked by us ignoring us. When we were eventually seated, the food was also disappointing. Looks great, but clearly looks aren't everything.
