“A fantastic little restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 14, 2013 via mobile

This little restaurant is truly a little gem in the historic town of Pollensa. The friendliest of services from the most gracious of hosts. Lovely relaxed atmosphere with a sumptuous simple tasty menu.
Owner Maxine is the most gracious and welcoming of hosts as are her hardworking staff . Both Sonya and Karl are a pleasure to have met too.
Chef Steve is not only a fine cook but fantastic company as is his lively little terrier Hamish.
All in all Dos Hermanes is well worth a visit. PS the tapas are to die for. Great company and great food the most relaxed of atmospheres in one of the best little bistros on the island.

Thanks for the review. The staff love to hear a mention! We are a small bistro and strive to make the place welcoming and the food tasty! It's good to learn we are achieving both. We hope to see you again if you return to Pollenca.

“Nice little gem tucked away in a quiet space”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2013

We visited Dos Hermanas during our holiday in June. Owners where really friendly and very welcoming, took time to talk us through our first tapas grazing menu, going back to Pollenca in September and looking forward to visiting again.

Thanks for taking the time to let us know how we are doing. I have explored much of Spain and love Spanish cuisine so it's good to hear that you enjoyed our tapas experience! We look forward to seeing you in September.

“Lovely little place with atmosphere”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2013

We visited Dos Hermanas as a family group of 10 plus baby in high chair and really wasn't disappointed. We sat outside to soak up the rustic feel of Pollensa.
The family all decided on the Grazing menu and the food came out in nicely spaced out in stages. The staff very attentive, happy bunch. The owner Maxine is passionate about getting it right and succeeded in every way on our visit, down to finding out a little about us and supplying the children in our party with colouring books, crayons and even bracelet making kits whilst our food was being prepared.
Food and service excellent. Location perfect for a hot evening!!

“Nice little bistro bar.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 11, 2013

Well worth a visit. It is just off the main square next to the church. We had lunch here on out visit to Pollensa. The owners are very nice. It was busy the day we went, but they still managed to make us feel very welcome.

“You must visit and enjoy a fantastic meal”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 7, 2013

We had seen the other reviews and as usual with certain people on Trip Advisor they seem to have got it a bit wrong...Remember this premises is in a small alley next to the large church so medieval planning comes into effect. Very atmospheric and intimate.
We stopped at Dos Hermanas tonight and we were greeted by the son of the owner. Took our drinks order told us what was available on the various menus and was very efficient. He seemed to have no problem talking to a Spanish couple sat next to us..
The owner, who was not working, also stopped for a chat. We were served the grazing Tapas menu and a couple of extra tapas as there was three of us. All the food was excellent and the service was also brilliant. We had tried to eat there the night before but they were full. Three people and full tapas and the table coped really well. Young family of five next to us just moved two tables together with the staffs help and wow..loads of room.
So if staying or visiting Pollensa don't miss out on a very nice evening of food and drink.

Thank you so much for this review. We work very hard and can honestly say my staff and family enjoy running the bistro. Yes we are restricted by the location but as you mention we try our best to accommodate people. I am pleased to hear you enjoyed the food and hope to see you again soon in our quirky little bistro!
