The first thing we noticed is that the welcome and, not surprisingly the magnificent view had not changed. The second was that the menu del dia is now 12 Euro - the third was that standards had slipped. The salad used to make the starter cheese salad was straight out of a bag and none too appetising. The bread basket - last year's tasty, fresh selection of different breads had been replaced by slices of a tired baguette. The mains were unimaginative but adequate, and the desert pleasant. An off day perhaps? I sincerely hope so - we didn't have the chance or frankly the inclination to go back to find out. Maths as follows. 5 for view and ambience, 3 for food = Mark of 4. Sorry guys, but the moment, there is better value for money to be had in Pollenca.
