I am a regular to this hotel. Not only does my firm use this hotel every week on business trips but we also never go past it for a relaxing sociable vacation. This hotel offers top quality accomodation with top quality service. The staff are very very friendly and the standard of the entire hotel is exceptional. On my last trip I had the DO NOT DISTURB sign out for the room service to pass on cleaning the room. On our return to the room I found a packed case outside the door, with a very kind note saying, 'as you do not wish to be disturbed, please accept these fresh towels and extra teas and coffees etc. They also wished uis a very pleasant stay on behalf of the house keeping team. I personally thought this a very kind and personal touch and little things like that really add to making you remember a hotel. The hotel has two restaurants, a mexican restaurant called the Alamo, the food here is excellent and the menu is mouth watering. You will get a menu in your room so you can have a glance at it prevoius to your reservation. The other restaurant is called the Moorings and this it has an La Carte menu. Again very nice and tasty food. This is also where you will be served breakfast . BREAKFAST is buffet style for cereals and drinks breads and crossants, also you will be offered a menu for full Irish breakfast and other hot cooked breakfasts. You can have this delivered to your room for €4 per person and the room service are quick and poilte leaving you feeling uninvaded and generally making it a lovley experience. The hotel bar is large yet very homely and welcoming. Relaxing over a drink in the main bar in the large comfortable seats makes a lovely night, and there is often some live music. There is a lovely walk around the hotel with a small childrens park right beside the hotel. Enniscorthy town itself is made up of small twisty streets very historical and full of character. On these streets you will find plent of fancy clothes shops and hardware shops. There also is a very good body mind and spirit shop in enniscorthy, I just cant remember the name of it but in there they sell herbal remedies, insence, relaxation music and many more different little things, definatley worth a visit. For more high street names Wexford town is a shoppers dream and is onlt 15 mins drive away.
