I have stayed at this hotel before and was forunate to stay there for my Christmas Party night earlier in December. This is a fantastic hotel with beautiful views over the river Slaney. We checked in early with and check in was very efficient. Our room was lovely with two double beds! There was a little balcony overlooking the river. We had a fantastic meal at our function and service was so efficient despite the very large function room being full to capacity. The entertainment was also incredible. A great night was had by all. We had a beautiful breakfast the next morning and relaxed in the Promenade Bar which had lots of people arriving for Sunday Lunch. The hotel also has two other restaurants The Moorings which is more formal dining and The Alamo which is tex-mex cuisine. Both of these are to be recommended. I would say the only thing that lets this hotel down is the lack of a proper Residents Bar. The Residents Bar is situated in the foyer of the hotel which was freezing cold as the front door was being opened all the time to allow people get their taxis and lacked atmosphere. The night porters did not seem overly keen to have people stay in the 'Residents Bar'. The hotel also has a Leisure Centre (which we didn't have time to use). Overall this is a fantastic hotel and offers the complete package for a luxurious break. I have been at several functions here and also been to its restaurants and it has always been excellent - well deserving of 4*!

Stayed here some time ago and the bar was good dinner in the restraunt was great and good entertainment at night, only problem was that there was a terrible smell of smoke in the corridors of the floor we were on and as non smokers you tend to notice it more, but other than that would stay there again.

The staff at Riverside Park hotel couldn't do enough for us when we got married in October this year, 2012. Jim the manager made sure we didn't have to think about a thing, really made our day stress free! In preparation for our wedding a checklist was covered each visit, including menu for the day. We also had 3 guests who were coeliac and these were catered for excellently even down to very elegant and tasty canapes. All of our guests gave excellent feedback on the food which was amazing and plentiful, the wine flowed and ambience was very relaxed and comfortable. Not to mention the luxurious stay in the honeymoon suite... I'll leave this as a surprise.. Let's just say you will not be disappointed. We had the pleasure in having some guests stay around for an extra day with us and we got to enjoy another fantastic meal in the restaurant. My husband and I are looking forward to returning again for a romantic weekend and we would definitely recommend The Riverside Park Hotel for any occasion particularly a wedding!

Lovely riverside hotel in the beautiful small and historic town of Enniscorthy. The rooms were refurbished with lovely soft bed with great sheets and coverings. The room was large and had a small balcony overlooking the river. Breakfast was good and the overall value was excellent.
