We got married in Nafplio several years ago. We've seen a fair bit of the world and Nafplio is a wonderful town - especially in the off season.

And in Naflio, this is the best place to stay.

We had our reception up at the Nafplio Palace, but the Yokos family allowed us to have drinks on their balcony (with 35 friends) and at the time we asked them (the morning of the wedding) none of us were even staying there. We had a super time and they eve gave us a wedding present!!

Naurally, several of our friends left their hotels and move in or the remainder of their stays. They had great rooms and a super stay.

Pension Marianna is close to the centre, but far enough away to be relaxing. It also has a great view.

If you are lucky enough to visit Nafplio - stay here. You will love it.

Pension Marianna deserves its fantastic reputation for excellent location and very knowledgeable and helpful and friendly owners the Zotos brothers.
If you don't have a car is even more convenient as it is very close to the bus station.

Can't think of anything to fault it - excellent location (2 minutes walk to the historic part of town), spotless and spacious rooms and superb hosts who genuinely care about making your stay a great one. We stayed five days and Nauplion makes a good base for exploring the Pennoplese; many of the major sites and attractions are within a 90 minute drive.

The Pension Marianna is owned by the Zotos brothers who are the most gracious of hosts. It is on the hill, just under the rock of Acronafplia and close to the Venetian walls and has beautiful views overlooking the city. The buffet breakfast is homemade with local ingredients and is delicious.
This hotel is not for the disabled or unfit - it is a steep climb up many steps to get to it.
