We stayed at Pension Rigas for 2 nights, at the very end of our trip to Greece. We reserved early by email and opted for a balcony. The room was lovely - the exposed beams and overall decor made it cozy but there was plenty of room to move around. We also had a good sized bathroom, and a great view of the Palamidi fortress from our window. The balcony overlooked the small street and area rooftops, and was a very pleasant place to unwind with a glass of wine at the end of the night. During our stay, it was very quiet and we felt like we had the place to ourselves. Nicholas, the owner, greeted us warmly upon checkin, took a few moments to help us get our bearings in Nafplio and even gave us a personal wake up call on our last day when we had to depart VERY early for Athens to catch our flight home. You can tell that he really likes to take good care of his guests! The hotel is located very close to Syntagma square, which is full of great restaurants, and the small street just below Kapodistriou is packed with Tavernas and shops. Overall, it was a great "home base" and one of the nicest places we stayed in Greece!
